It is fantastic here es fantástico aquí I am English I am learning Spanish Soy ingles estoy aprendiendo All the personnel are amazing Todo el personal es asombroso We can’t wait to get back in September no podemos esperar a volver en septiembre I recommend this hotel 100 percent
A great holiday from start to finish. Welcoming staff. Clean and modern. Good food. Can’t fault it at all . We would definitely recommend this hotel. Our sea view bedroom was lovely and the uninterrupted view was a pleasure to have on our spacious balcony.
Sat in the hotel bar after a fantastic few days here , we have actually checked out but said we are ok to have lunch here, which is a good example of how they look after you. The food has been lovely, the pizzas aren't very nice but everything else was spot on especially the chicken, and beef in black bean last night which was delicious. All staff work hard, a special shout out to the older bartender who wears a face mask who knew my wife's order and would shout " aperol for señorita" if the other bartender was serving us 😂 At one point our safe lost power and they sent someone in 10 minutes who quickly changed the battery. We aren't big sunbathers and had a few trips out, the marina is only 20-25 minutes walk and is worth a look, the highlight was benalmedina old town which is beautiful, we got a bus there and a taxi back for 8 euros I recommend taxis both ways if you can, bus takes ages to travel 4 km All in all a brilliant honeymoon, gracias…
We went to this hotel 4 years ago it was going through upgrade then but you didn’t see anything going on we booked to go again the next year but got cancelled because of covid so we booked this year just got back hotel is amazing staff were very polite had working from the restaurant to the bar the cleaning staff never stop lovely pool areas would highly recommend the only one thing that I was not happy with that so lazy person left there empty beer glass outside our room we don’t drink in the room but looks bad on us if they can carry full glasses up they should bring them back down it’s not up to the cleaning staff to do it and I’m being polite here they are lazy but would still go back.
Came here for some winter sun and not been disappointed this is a large hotel with extensive grounds everywhere is clean and well maintained. The grass is the greenest I've seen and well tended. Our room was on 11th floor with great side sea views, some have said the rooms were dated ,we didn't think so and had no complaints. We were staying all Inc. and the drink selections were fine. As many have said food was too cold, we had to microwave ours at first ,this improved after a few days though and didn't spoil our stay. All staff were pleasant we had no issues and will definitely return
We stayed here in March 2023 unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant but the hotel made up for it . The staff all very nice and friendly food and drinks all very good the entertainment wasn’t brilliant but we were just happy having a chat and a drink, the hotel is a good walk into benalmadena maybe 30 minutes but a very nice walk with bars and restaurants along the way , I would also like to give a special mention to the chefs who looked after my wife who is a coeliac and they cooked her fresh meals everyday and all the restaurant staff who work really hard I would definitely return one day
Top marks again. 4th visit. Arrived back on 12th Feb after a week. Food great, spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful especially Francisco on reception. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. Food was great and spoilt for choice. So much to choose from. We will be back again.
My honest review. I try to be thorough so sorry its so long 😉 I found all staff were friendly and helpful. They worked tirelessly. The hotel was spotless, but very large and confusing at first to get around, seem to be a lot of unused spaces and only found the sports bar on our last day (maybe because we stayed in the marbella tower, easier to find from malaga tower). Stayed in a suite, room 311, 3rd floor. Amazing views, don't be worried about missing the views on the lower floors, they are still fab. The room was lovely, huge bed (very hard, some will love it, others wont). The 2nd bed was in the living area and was almost like a children's pull up bed with a soft mattress. It looked like there was a pull out bed under the sofa but we made do. Massive balcony, robes in room, lots of complementary toiletries and the like, coffee machine, but we requested a kettle and it arrived in a couple of hours. Hairdryer that we made do with, wasn't the best for long or thick hair but we managed. Great room with lots of space. I thought food was great, different themed food every night (Mexican, Chinese, fish etc) but always the same staples, pizza, pasta, chips, nuggets, salad. Anyone who says the food is repetitive I'd love to see what a varied diet they must eat at home. You could have a different meal every day, I definitely didn't get bored of the food. Wasnt always the warmest but there were microwaves if needed. Breakfast your usual, continental, cooked plus fruit, cereal etc. Snack bar by the square pool seemed to start with a bit of late breakfast food, then it would change throughout the day. Very good. Drinks were good, good selection on all inclusive package, they also made cocktails that weren't on the menu (lovely blue lagoon). Bar queues could look long but never waited longer than 5 minutes for drinks, and they would let me order more than the 2 they say you can get. People did queue for beds before 10am but mainly families who wanted to ensure they got beds around the main pools, or people wanting the day beds. Friday the day beds next to us were still available at 10.30am, and there were always loungers that you could put on the grassy areas at any time of the day. Pools were cold but useable, lots of people using them whilst we were there. The one thing I felt could be improved on was the entertainment. During the day there wasn't much that went on around the pool, no games etc that other places I've been to have done. I think they do sports etc elsewhere, and occasionally I saw aquafit. A bit of bingo or a quiz at 5pm and that was about it, not even music playing half the time. Quieter still down by the adult pools. Evening was hit and big miss. Flamenco show was good if you like dancing, I enjoyed their Halloween show. However the el divo night was changed for a adult type game show night and it was awful. Don't know if they finished the game show, there were 5 rounds, we walked out on round 3 and the room had emptied fast. Also 1 night they charged €35 each to see a show, we went out for the evening, spent less than we would have spent on the show tickets and had the best night! (Minelli's was so much fun, I definitely recommend). I don't have small kids and can't comment on the kids entertainment. We did the trip to Gibralter, Mijas Pueblo and the cable cars and walked to the marina. I enjoyed all of these. Hotel highlight was halloween. Their tunnel of tower was great, scary but funny. Loved the theming in the restaurant, we had a lovely last night because of this. Special mention to Juan on animation team (I think was his name). Took time to talk to us and explain the entertainment and what was happening when, thank you. All in all I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, for the views alone I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, but I'd research the area and go out at night, there are bars in walking distance.…
Loved our stay at this hotel. Room was modern and comfortable. Great walk in shower. Lots of pools and the grounds are gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food I’m a veggie so less choice but I always found something. Breakfast was amazing. Cocktails round the pool with new friends was the best. Leisurely walk on the beach takes about 35 minutes to reach the marina which is well worth a visit. Buses are cheap and plentiful and apparently you can buy a green card at tobacco shops that makes travel even cheaper. Mijas and the Butterfly Park / Temple are definitely worth a visit.
Stayed in Feb/March 2023. Room including bathroom and balcony was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Views of sea were stunning. All staff were efficient, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. The food offered was plentiful, varied and of a very high quality.....Prosecco for breakfast! The grounds were extensive with a variety of seating/relaxing areas. Facilities were excellent. Managed to fit in a massage that was wonderful and very reasonably priced. Prior to my stay I was led to believe, from reviews and feedback that the hotel was in quite a remote location and that buses ran hourly! This was certainly not the case. A bus ran from directly outside the hotel almost every 5 mins to Benalmadena, Torremolinos or Fuengirola - less than 2Euro. Views from the various terraces and dining room were extensive. I would highly recommend this hotel and I hope to return in Sept.…
