I travelled with my partner ,we were a little apprehensive of booking a 3 star hotel,we usually have 4 or 5 star all inc. our flights were booked and the hotel we booked was closed. So we decided to book San Fermin. I rang the hotel and Susana talked me through the booking. We booked full board ,much cheaper than any other website. On arrival we were treated by Susana and were given a spotlessly clean room with pool and seaview room. We went to restaurant where we met Carlos who was very helpful. He told us wear mask when leaving the table. He was very friendly and a guy full of humour. The pool area is large and once again spotless. We have been here 6 days and we have another 6 to go. The hotel is dealing amazingly well with the current vivid situation. Every member of staff deserves a very big thank you. Food very good too . Rooms cleaned everyday fresh towels fresh linen My doubts of booking a 3 star hotel were blown away well done everyone😁😁😁😁😎😎😎 so far excellent . Cheers best regards Ian and Alla. UK

I am currently still staying here. My husband and I came last year for 4 nights and we found the hotel to be brilliant. Obviously with Covid 19 going on we decided to come back to this hotel as the outside grounds are huge and we don’t need to get close to anyone if we don’t want to. The hotel is fantastically clean and all the staff and so helpful and friendly. There is hand sanitizer everywhere and everyone is to wear masks in all the communal areas (not around the pool don’t worry). The way they have organised the resultant is fantastic - yes there is slightly less food than normal but to be honest it’s all fresh and tasty so I don’t mind. Everything we were worried about just hasn’t been an issue at all! Honestly, if you’re desperate for a holiday like we were this hotel is perfect!! Their SAN Fermín cocktail is incredible too!! The only thing I would say is the room is a little dated but to be honest it’s clean and useable - that’s all that really matters to us!! Bargain for what we paid!!!

Stayed 15th to 19th Oct and really enjoyed my stay,we have been coming to benalmadina for over 20 years in different apartment and hotels and must say the hotel was as good if not better than most.Check in swift and the easiest I have ever experienced, Rooms clean tidy and everything you need maybe a bit more draw space but no complaints, we stayed half board and decided to have breakfast and lunch as we like to visit the many restaurants we have enjoyed over the years and both were ok,remember this is a Spanish hotel with mainly Spanish guest so the food is and rightly so aimed at them which I really don’t have a problem with as I love Spanish food. The pool area is lovely ok you pay for sun beds but the hotel is such great value it really is worth it. I found the staff from reception, waiters and waitress at meal time bar staff and cleaners all very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be returning next year and a big thank you for my birthday cocktails.

A friend and I went to this hotel in September for a week, we had booked half board and were extremely happy with our choice. The bar even served food during the day for lunch that we could pay for separately. We were impressed with the pool area as well. Great place for new families and couples. Only issue was, the evening entertainment was a little cringe, but other than that, was a great week away!

We stayed here early October and cannot really find any negatives about it. The price we paid was very reasonable - we travelled non-package because we saved around £400 by doing so. The small extra for half board is well worth it - it's roughly £2 per day each to have half board which you can opt for lunch if you wish - a real bargain. We used daily - although originally wasn't our intention. Only one night we found disappointing - the rest we both thoroughly enjoyed our choices - we eat entirely differently - hubby is a plain eater and I like to try different things. Breakfasts were filling and plenty choice - they cater for all nationalities and there is a micro if anything isn't hot enough. Our room was very clean - we had a pool view which was nice. Furniture a bit dated but solid and unmarked so why would they replace. Public areas all modernised. Made good use of the free wifi which was fast in the rooms as well as public areas. Bar prices are very reasonable. Yes they charge for sunbeds but at the price you pay compared to similar rated hotels you aren't really as San Fermin is cheaper than most on the cost. There were only a couple of kids in the hotel during our stay - there is daytime activity but it is low key - table tennis/darts etc. There are lots of nearby hotels and restaurants. Location is good. Pool area spotless and there is no objection to using the table and chairs and not lying on sunbeds. We will use the hotel again and I would recommend.
