I spent 5 nights at this nice hotel, finding a very good service and hospitality. I had the opportunity to use the brand new rooms of this hotel that are highly comfortable. Bed is good and bathroom is large and well designed. all the hotel follows a medieval theme, than gives a special touch. Very good value for money. Highly... More

Although the medieval theme is constantly present throughout the hotel, it is just superficial - fortunately ;) You can find all the amenity of the modern life: TV, power sockets, heating (even floor heating), hot shower (needs descaling),... great place to be, just beware of the lamps, some are hanging really low. Breakfast was good with plenty of everything. WLAN... More

Booked by a colleague we stayed for a few days during a trade fair for 2 nights. Hotel was great; it had nice atmosphere starting from the reception, room was nicely furnished, clean and everything worked. Restaurant had a very nice list, all the way from local food to restaurant specialties which were some sort of fusion Asian food. We... More

Visited here last year as a stop-over hotel. Made it part of our journey this year. Wonderful setting, picturesque countryside, quiet roads. Rooms very comfortable. Food excellent, superb local beer. Friendly and attentive staff. I'm pretty sure we will be back to check out the new extension etc. Well done to all involved.

Whilst this hotel is somewhat off the beaten track, it was a perfect "stop-over" location on our recent road-trip. Hotel has a medieval theme throughout, which was not over-the-top "tacky". Rooms were very clean. Staff very courteous and spoke good English. Food was excellent, great choice, well sized portions, quality produce. Not just reasonably priced, but cheap (probably due to... Spent 3 days with a family (two kids) to explore the area and Revensburg park. Hotel has just 17 rooms (if I am right). We had a big room (305) - just a great pleasure to feel in medieval castle equipped with all modern utilities. 4 yo daughter was happy to live in the Snow White's castle. And small kid's... More

During our recent trip in Southern Germany we came across the Hotel Arthus through a link on the Ravensburger Spieleland. From the first contact via email on, the responses were fast, accurate and very helpful, so we decided to book the family package. We got a nice room on the top level, with a double bed and a bunk bed... More

A great small hotel, in a lovely town, spotless rooms, all decorated individually with a middle ages theme. Wonderfully modern bathroom, excellent food (extensive breakfast buffet, seasonal menu, a la carte menu, plus the "ritterkellar" medieval banquet), reasonable prices. If you can, pay a visit to the nearby (walking distance) thermal baths: wonderful whatever the weather (roof opens in the... More

“305 is the biggest family room (I guess) with 2-tier beds for the kids. Will perfectly fit for families with 2 kids, and there's enough space to put an extra bed if needed.”
