Stayed in hotel Christina a few weeks ago, first holiday with Mark Warner. Had a brilliant week! As other reviewers have said, the hotel is quite tired and could do with some updating, but it was perfectly adequate for a week mostly spent skiing! Always clean and a good powerful shower. You can ski right from the door even as...

We had a fabulous time at the Christina. The staff were so friendly and cheerful that it made the holiday. Superb kids club and also the location was extremely convenient as it was right on the slopes. Each evening there was an a la carte three course dinner with wine and the food was delicious and of restaurant quality. I...

Writing this during the sixth night of broken sleep anyone who stays here should be aware of Scotty's Bar which is directly under the chalet. Loud Music and shouting come from inside and outside of the bar well into the early hours of every morning, we changed room to be the furthest away but it is no different. Resident staff...

Myself and the other 41 people in our group have just returned from the Christina, this was my second stay at the Christina, nothing has really changed with the hotel maybe slightly more tired. The Mark Warner staff were fantastic couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were warm and clean all be it very tired. The food was fabulous...

This was only our 2nd Mark Warner ski holiday. We soon found out that we'd been spoilt at the Aguille Percee last year in Tignes with the standard of that accommodation and the food. What the Christina has going for it is its location. I agree with most of the other reviews that it's tired and a little run down...

If the location is brilliant-ski in and out- the Chalet is falling to bits and is extremely cold. The floor is rotting on the balcony with gaping holes(Room 1). No curtains in the bathroom. The single beds are very small and the carpet is dirty. The room was very cold. Adequate food, but bits of GLASS in the ice cream...

I was wavering between giving rating of a 4 or a 5 and settled on a 4 simply because the hotel is worn and in need of modernising and decorating in parts. As I was told the resort closes down in the Summer months I am surprised that Mark Warner hasn't revamped this place before. Anyhow, other than that we...

Can't say I had any complaints. I enjoyed the week. I had a comfortable bed, enjoyed the food, the staff were helpful, had plenty of hot water regardless of time of day and a good sized comfortable bathroom with shower over bath. The location is excellent and the supermarket, shops, restaurants etc are a mere few minutes walk away. I...

We are just back from a week's family holiday with MW to the Christina. Our 2nd year there. Ski in, ski out location is good. The bus journey of 3 hours is not the greatest and we had people sick on the bus both on the way there and on the way home. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The...

10 years ago when I first visited the hotel was every thing I could have wished for, but time has taken it's toll and the place obviously suffers from lack of investment. The hotel struggles to keep up with the expectations generated by the prices charged. Every thing looks shabby, the staff seem significantly less motivated, standards of service have...
