We had booked this hotel for 2 nights but were so happy here we stayed an extra night. The hotel is simple but well presented, clean and comfortable. What made it special for us was the good food and the service. It is a family run affair and everyone is helpful and pleasant. We were given very good advice for walks in the beautiful countryside. The food was very tasty and again had a homely feeling, in the best sense of the word. It may have helped that we were there during weekdays as I believe weekends are very busy. All the same we would imagine Casa Marcos is a good place at any time and we hope we will be back some time in the future.

Small hotel conveniently situated near Segovia and the mountains, great if you enjoy skiing and walking. Miguel made us feel very welcome, including our 2 small dogs. The room size is not huge, but certainly big enough without feeling cramped. The beds are comfortable, the heating worked well, and the shower is powerful, with plenty of hot water. And everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast is basic, but adequate, and there is plenty of parking. The hotel is about 500m away from the village, which has a number of bars and cafes, so finding somewhere to eat in the evening should not be difficult. The hotel does not serve evening meals. Overall it is a great budget hotel. We’d have no hesitation in returning when next in the area.

We really enjoyed our brief overnight stop here.We were unlucky as there were no restaurants open in the village and we had to make do with deep fried overcooked snacks in a local bar, but the hotel is to be recommended just the same. Go when you're sure the restaurant is open!

We only had one night here on our road trip in Spain, but wished it could have been for longer. The staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fairly basic, but very clean and comfortable and excellent value at just £37 per night. The village itself was lovely, with several bars and restaurants and the surrounding countryside is stunning, would highly recommend .
