Great location with very helpfull staff and the owner. Clean rooms and nice breakfasts. Amazing service that made us feel like at home. Big thank you to the owner ! we definitely come back at some stage of our life!
My wife and I spent the night here for our 6th wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier! Our "superior" room was on the third floor (no elevator) in the atico. Unlike other aticos with slanting roofs this room was quite large and with tall ceilings of massive exposed wooden beams, The skylight had a remotely activated (wall switch) retracting opaque screen which we loved. Our arrival was greeted with a bucket of cava (two small bottles of delectable Freixenet "Mini Nevada"), cherries and chocolate - thoroughly enjoyable. The king sized bed was gloriously comfortable with decent pillows too. The large bathroom with walk-in shower had custom made iron bath hooks, towel racks and other accessories which enhanced the rustic yet elegant feel of the room. The room was very quiet with the window closed and the curtains drawn - very restful indeed. Breakfast served in our room at the time of our choosing was a completely adequate collection of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, plenty of toast, croissants and other goodies (real butter & peach/strawberry jelly). Our only regret was that we were unable to stay longer nor were we able to enjoy the downstairs reading/tv room which looked very comfortable. The only slight negative was the weak Wifi signal which didn't seem to make it up to the third floor very well.…
Very lovely room that was booked for us on a bike tour when the Sheraton at the monastery was full. We visited the monastery but then were very happy to come home to our lovely room in the village. Our room was a superior double on the top floor.
