metro suburb station, la ganera is 5min walk from hotel, @3,50€ to madrid central otochoa station, with time travel at about 50min. supermercados lidl & dia are next door with burger king & kfc a little further down the road; all are open on sunday. wifi was lightning fast; no problem streaming movies or uploading files. free parking in back of property. rooms are typical with all ibis property.

Ibis La Ganera is modern with an up-to-date internet connection, extremely helpful staff and only a few minutes walk from bus stops to Alacala and Madrid. The frequent commuter train service to Alcala, Guadalajara and Madrid is 10 minutes away. La Ganera is not a pretty place, with lots of take-aways, commercial premises and plots of land ready for development but the hotel is very reasonably priced and excellent value. One member of staff, David, went to no end of trouble to try to get us train tickets on-line.

We loved the service and the king size bed. Great breakfast and decent size room. The free parking holds enough amount of cars and the place is quiet and very good location. We will most likely return.
