Great place overlooking lake. Sat and watched the sun set during happy hour which was very pleasant. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Rooms are clean and staff friendly. Had one of the ground level rooms which have no view to anything outside the hotel court, but travelling with a group that's the way it goes. Wifi is...

Stayed here for two nights with my husband and loved it! Has a great location and a very helpful staff. They even made to go boxes lunches for us the day we made the trip to Tikal. A little pricy but well worth the room, air conditioning and great pool!

A great place to stay in Flores. The pool is like heaven especially after a long hot hike through Tikal. Views are great from the balcony and sundowners a must when on the top floor (room 41). Rooms have both fan and a/c which is very pleasant. Meals are not included but there's a great restaurant by the pool or...

I spent one night here on the return from Tikal. The room I had was clean, but probably the worst room in the hotel in terms of any view ... looked out onto a passage way. Room also featured AC and cable TV. Hotel has large, open, lovely public spaces, including a small pool and large restaurant. WiFi worked well...

I spent one night at the Casona de la Isla, and I loved it! This is definitely the hotel I will stay at for future trips to Flores. Depending on the room you get a great view of the lake, and it is centrally located to nice restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff is VERY friendly and accomodating. We checked...

We stayed in room 16 which has 3 double beds. The room was spacious, had TV, AC, hot water, and a great view of the pool and lake! The room was clean, the beds were a variety of harder or softer which suited our individual likes (family of 5). The shower didn't drain as fast as would have been nice...

A very nice hotel to relax after an exciting but tyring day in one of the archeological sites, with a pool and a great view. Remember that breakfast is not included in the price. We were surprised that they charged the credit card we used to reserve the hotel in booking.com. And they did it one day before our arrival....

This is one of many hotels in the small island town of Flores, situated some 60 kilometers south of Tikal. It is among the two best. There is a breakfast/dining area next to reception and a patio facing the lake. Many rooms face the pool in the inner courtyard and a few the lake beyond. Immediate to the hotel on...

Rooms to the pool are quieter, we were lucky to stay in one of these. After January 15th might be a better time to go to Flores. First half of January a lot of cracking is going on. I learned that it is because of the church patronage is celebrated 15th January. The AC is noisy but rooms are clean...

Casona de la Isla is affordable when compared to some of the prices we got to stay in Flores. Room was clean and basic but nice. Pool was lovely as it was very warm during the day. Staff were very polite and helpful, English was limited! Plenty of places surrounding to eat and bars to drink.
