We booked our trip late and there weren't many options left for hotels in Flores. Casazul was decent, we had a spacious room, a clean bathroom and some amenities such as internet, shampoo and a TV. Enjoy the sunrise or sunset on the terrace!
It was basic and fine. I'm a backpack traveler with very basic needs. The room was spacious enough for two people. And it was nice to have two full sized beds. Everything was clean.

This is not a high-spec, all mod cons hotel but it provided good sized comfortable rooms with effective air con, wi-fi, shared balcony and a beautiful view over the lake (although some of the rooms faced the road so worth checking). We stayed here for...More

They have one room on the ground floor. It is in the back, with a balcony overlooking the lake. I think there were two beds in it. The bathroom will likely have one step up into it, as is typical in this kind of place to accommodate plumbing. The shower in our room was walk-in (no tub). There are also a couple of steps into the lobby from the street. If your elderly friend can handle a few steps this would work fine.
