This property has been on my bucket list for some time. My husband and I intended to spend the second weekend of spring break here. Due to a last minute cancelled flight we didn't arrive in Midland until late Friday night. Since the drive to the resort was 3.5 hours away, we had to wait until the next morning to...

After reading about Cibolo Creek Ranch I knew that this was where we should finish our 3 week tour of Texas - historical, relaxing, hiking, mountain biking, beautiful. It took a bit of tenacity to get booked (several phone calls and emails) but we were absolutely wowed by this incredible Ranch. The first night we were on the property we...

I love Cibolo Creek. We have been there several times over the past few years. It is always first class. The meals are served family style and are gourmet. The wine is good and comes with dinner. Lots of history to the ranch. Outdoor activities include humvee tours, horseback rides and atv tours.

A most beautiful place to enjoy nature and rest. It is wise to bring water and snacks for your room. It is a very meat driven menu and the food while perfectly fine is not great. We really enjoyed the jeep tour of the property as it is truly spectacular landscape.

Cibolo Creek Ranch is the place to go for a true Texas experience. Luxury awaits you the minute you enter your room. Every detail is addressed! Honestly, we didn't really know what to expect. We wanted to be near Marfa and have a ranch experience for a couple of nights. After visiting Marfa, we were so glad we were at...

Four of us (three early-20's boys and their old dad) stayed three nights in a suite on the courtyard, and were treated as well or better than we might expect at the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. The ranch is an extraordinary place, and has something for everyone. The GM, Brian, and staff members Perla, Jose, Zach, and Aaron in...

Cibolo Creek is the perfect place for a quiet, high end get away. Visitors will be impressed with the excellent food, the beautiful desert scenery, and the amenities. Horseback riding, Humvee tours of the moutains, as well as a nice pool and spa services are available. No TV or internet in the rooms encourages quiet reflection and reading.

I don't know the owner, John Poindexter, but I want to use this forum to personally thank him for sharing with the public the great vision he had in restoring this very historic and beautiful ranch. For a history nut like me, this is a true gem. The ranch was owned by Milton Faver as early as 1857, just a...

If it's a resort, then they need to hire resort personnel to greet their guests and make them feel welcome. If it's a working ranch, then that explains them shoving a disclaimer of liability in my face and the odd vibe that we were allowed on premises only to help them defray costs. At the rates they are charging per...
