Wonderful hotel that has been kept up. We were fortunate to get the last avoilable room, so we weren't expecting much. Well we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had a lovely room with a private outdoor seating area that had a fireplacee. Needless to say we didn't fire it up, but there was evidence that prior occupants...

This hotel has so much charm and character. You walk up to a flowing water fountain and walking in feels like going back in time. Pictures from 'Giant' are all over, the decor is classy. I loved it here! Walk around and check out the place. Our room had a veranda that looked out over the pavilion. Relaxing. Room keys...

We stayed at The Paisano Hotel for three nights in mid-April. 1) The room was dirty and worn. (I've attached a photo of mildew in the shower.) 2) I had a cold shower the first morning of our stay because the hotel had run out of hot water. The next two days I made sure to shower during 'off' hours...

We were here for a wedding. The hotel is small and historic, yes, but in 2017 for a (low) block rate of $198 a night I expect at least a removable duvet cover, not a reused floral comforter from 1990. The F&B service was good and common areas were nice but guest rooms definitely need updating. Location was very convenient...

My husband and I just stayed here for the Easter holiday. The hotel has been beautifully taken care of. The lobby is great and the staff is very friendly. We stayed in a mezzanine patio room which was comfortable and well appointed. There was a burn ban in the county, therefore we could not light the fireplace on the patio,...

I really wanted to like this place and I did! Lots of character and charm. Loved all the "Giant" photos everywhere. We stayed in Room 228 which overlooks the courtyard. The room was a king room with a kitchenette. Huge room and the best bed we had on our week long trip. Loved the fresh ground coffee left in the...

The hotel is historic and has beautiful tile work, etc. There are several gift shops with various local and other items. We ate in the main dining room but you can also eat in a very nice courtyard. The food and service were good.

Touring west Texas my wife and I stayed two nights in Marfa. We stayed in the Rock Hudson suite where he stayed while filming the movie Giant. Our room was large, comfortable and had a fantastic balcony to enjoy the incredible evenings in Marfa. The restaurant/bar serves good breakfast burritos and coffee and in the evening the Martini's are good....

Loved this hotel. We got a suite so we had a bedroom, living area, and kitchen and two little balconies overlooking the courtyard - beautiful and perfect. Not one of those hotels that just claims to be pet friendly but then charges huge pet fees and doesn't allow the dogs anywhere on the property except in the rooms - pets...

Visited Maria on a trip to West Texas. Hotel was beautiful old hotel, with inviting courtyard and lobby. Staff was courteous and helpful. Adjacent to the lobby were interesting, pricey shops. Restaurant in lobby, with reservations recommended. We stayed in the James Dean Room. Room was clean and updated, with comfortable bed and good linens. Free wi-if was available. Our...
