My biz partner and I did a girls' getaway to Bella Vista and we quickly felt right at home. We spent three nights in the Cowboy Cottage and look forward to returning. Mary was very accommodating from the very first phone conversation and she and Andy went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to make certain...

Bella Vista is located on farm/ranch land right on a river and Lake Travis. The bed was comfortable, the breakfasts made by Mary were delicious, and there was plentiful outdoor seating to enjoy the sounds and views of nature. Although you feel like you are away from it all, Bella Vista is a 10 minute drive to Marble Falls, where...

My wife and I came to the Bella Vista B&B (BVBB) for a few days over spring break and stayed in the Tejas Room. We had never been to a B&B before and I did not have high hopes. I was wrong!!! The BVBB was great! The location was very relaxing and quiet. Mary was very kind and she made...

Everything was wonderful, beautiful and secluded from the outside world. The owners were sweethearts and their service was amazing including the breakfast. They respected our space once breakfast was completed so it was a very relaxing stay. The scenery was beautiful as well as the room itself. Definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone who enjoys peaceful, quiet, relaxing...

We were thinking bed and breakfast inns were restored old houses. Even though the room itself (Tejas Room) was decorated in older/antique decor, the building was very new and modern. We also were thinking the room was by itself, but it was like a motel room, one beside the other. The scenic view of the Colorado River was great, and...

Bella Vista met our needs for a place away from city lights to see stars and watch for the Orionid meter shower. The facilities and grounds were wonderful. Andy and Mary are excellent hosts. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck watching stars and hearing owls, coyotes, a donkey, frogs and insects, and the occasional splash down by the...

I am so happy that you were able to "stargaze" even if it meant dealing with very bright moonlight. It seems the stars are bright, but so is the moon when it is near full. I apologize if we were a bit noisy in the morning. I will take note of that and make it a point to keep the...

We stayed at Bella Vista on a whim. We came to visit Austin and ended up touring the hill country instead after my husband and I decided we wanted to go ATV riding. Bella Vista was close with great reviews so we decide to stay there. We were so glad we did. It is a beautiful property inside and out....

Thank you for the review. It is funny that you mention that the baked oatmeal needed a bit of flour. I was given the recipe by a guest who happened to also be gluten intolerant. So I try to serve it when guests request gluten free. However, when I make it for others I do add flour to give it...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bella Vista B&B for our 24th anniversary. This place is nothing and everything that you would expect. The beauty of the landscape and the quiet of the country were just what we were looking for. The home was well appointed with Texas country living (we stayed in the Tejas room). It wasn’t...
