We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas and they were top notch lakefront accommodations. The staff and other guests were all very friendly and helpful and Lake LBJ is gorgeous. I have rented many lakeside accommodations and none have come close to Rio Vista. We will definitely be visiting again.

Reluctantly, we gave this place another try. I had previously reviewed them after a very bad experience. I feel the need to leave that review, but add this new one. We last attended July 4th weekend 2015. Disastrous!! This year we waited a week after the 4th to go. We rented the big house, which was much cheaper than renting...

Didn't have a bad experience like I was looking for (thanks TA reviewers). Now don't think this is a luxury stop but fairly quiet and laid back. If you're looking for a quiet place to keep to yourself it works. Wifi is okay we stayed in the nicest cabin they had but definitely worn. Response to a plugged sink was...

This place is an overrated R.V. park, with hidden fees everywhere! My husband and I will never stay here again. Rented a park model RV, this place has permanent residents that act like police, tattle tales, and racist bigots. Staff is rude, owners will not face you they constantly hide behind office their staff ad when you do confront the...

Place is a glorified R.V. park! Rented a tiny house, things seemed great until we were asked to vacate due to a dog defecating in a neighbors yard. After proving we have no dog we were still asked to vacate, due to to many complaints about the dog. My wife and I are going to sue this dreaded place, racist...

I researched places to stay and came across Rio Vista's website. After, I browsed the site. I clicked directly on the link for one bedroom villas and it directed me immediately to a list of the rooms amenities. It states that they have 4 one bedroom units that are equipped with a full kitchen, bed, bath and fold out couch....

Our extended family stayed for the 4th of July weekend. We rented two villas and two rv spots for @ $3500 altogether (rv spots were rented for the month). Very pricey and had a million rules to follow! Website was confusing about pets. Many family members took their dogs thinking it was okay. Upon arriving we were told pets were...

Took a corporate group of 13 to the Rio Vista for an offsite meeting/team build. The Villas were very clean and well appointed. The location is directly on the lake with docks for fishing, swimming or simply to relax. The staff was great and very accommodating. This was exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you to the Rio Vista...

Typical RV park - many trailers parked together with a few permanent trailers scattered throughout. Right on Lake LBJ so easy access and very short walk from any space. Everything is cheaper by the monthly rental -- from spaces to boat docks -- rent by the month even if you will only be there 7-10 days. For instance the boat...

Arrived with some expectations (thank you, Good Neighbor, Sam). Basically the "resort" is a park for full time residents. The sites for occasional guests are quite close so that each units' noise bleeds into one another's (i.e., close your doors and windows and blast your a/c). The most disturbing aspect about this "resort" is the condition of the rest rooms....
