Slow and easy. The birthday celebration get-away was great. We has a caboose that was comfortable, quite, private and cozy. The grounds have access to the Colorado River and a small dock. The Grand Central Cafe assoicated with the proporty is a wonderful surprise. We were not disappointed with our two meals at the cafe. Bring a book, take short...

We stayed in the McKinley Coach, a full-size train car. The car is romantic and clean. Even though a fierce thunderstorm came in overnight, the car did not rock in the high winds. The coach was provided daily cleaning service. This would have been almost a perfect spot, except the air conditioning was not working properly. The sign by the...

We were here with another family. Each of us had a caboose. It's a small but cozy place to stay. A unique experience that is worth the trip out here alone. I would especially recommend this for families with small children. Lots of climbing and exploring for the kids to do.

Beautiful Grounds. Cabin was fabulous. We stayed in the Mt. Laurel. The cabin is open and roomy. It has a enclosed private patio. Nicely furnished. full kitchen. I want to go back and stay longer. There is a restuarant on the grounds that serves, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is very upscale and prices are not over the top....

Checked in and found the bathroom so small even my wife who is small couldn't fit in it. I most certainly could not use it. Luckily we had an emergency call from home and were forced to check out. We most certainly will not be going back. The staff was very nice and understanding.

We were very sorry to hear that your stay was not what you had expected. We are assuming that you were staying in one of our very popular cabooses. We at the front desk try to make sure that our potential guests staying in the cabooses are well aware that the bunk beds are small and are intended for children,...

Spacious, charming, quaint, quiet, and comfortable are the first words that enter my mind in writing this review. My wife and I reserved the Antler's Suite which offered a large living room with two sofas, a wing chair, and 3 tables. We were greeted warmly at check-in. The bedroom included a wardrobe, sofa, and dresser along with side tables on...

We loved the Antlers. We stayed in the Plum East cottage. Quaint and charming. Lovely porches, front and back. We found the bed in the back bedroom a little small but it was fine for 2 nights.Quiet street with a good restaurant across from the Antlers.

My sister and I stayed a night in the main hotel a few days ago and had a great experience! The owners were very hospitable, the room was giant and very nice, the property was pretty, and the restaurant next door was very very good! Even though the hotel was not directly on the water (about a 2 minute walk...

We had driven past this hotel a few times previously when on road trips in the area and had wanted to try it out. We took this opportunity during a spur of the moment trip right after Christmas. The Writers Suite was available, which suited our party of 3 well. Large king bed was very comfortable, and pull out sofa...
