This place was absolutely amazing from the room, the views, the staff, and the amenities. We came in the middle of all the rain storms and lucked out with a weekend of no rain. Our condo was just like a little apartment with everything you...More
We just had the worst trip to the River Inn. There was trash everywhere, cigarettes floating in the river with beer cans where my kids were trying to swim, loud music playing till 4 am for 3 nights straight, and pipes leaking in our room....More
The apartments are in a great, idyllic location about 30 minutes from Kerrville businesses. Located directly on the river, which is the property's best feature.
The apartments are small and dated, but the overall facilities and the entertainment lodge was lovely. Many outdoor BBQs, picnic...More
I asked for an updated unit when I made our reservation and we got a very nice unit with new everything. I can imagine just how much fun families with kids have playing and hanging out here during the summer! Each staff member we encountered...More
We stayed in the River Inn resort "out of season" so maybe that was reason for my lack of enthusiasm. It was quiet, few people, with little service and attention. The condo had all of the amenities you want - kitchenette with microwave, coffee pot...More

I cannot attest to how crowded or noisy this place is during the summer, it was quite empty when we visited in February. The summer is quite hot, but the fun areas are pretty shaded and right on the river. The river area would be perfect for your kids if they like to swim and be outside. There is NO cell service, but there is WiFi. I would love to visit in the summer. It is a beautiful location on the river. I wouldn’t expect it to be nearly as crowded as the New Braunfels or San Marcos river areas.
