I stayed here on a business trip. The first night i was alone and a second night my wife and young child joined. We had connecting connecting rooms. Cannot say enough positive about this hotel. First the service cannot be beat. The thoughtfulness and Personal Touch make staying her feel like a second home. The front desk was always ready...

We stayed here in January- family of five. Loved the location, quiet downtown and very convenient for museums and art gallery. Plenty of good restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Very nice staff and great atmosphere.

It was unusually cold these 3 days of December 2016, but the manager quickly brought our room to cozy temperature. We loved the tour of the hotel, it's old ballroom, imported from France, and to hear about all the celebrities that had stayed here. As my wife is an artist, we also loved to be surrounded by mostly modern art....

Decided to try HRW with my husband and turned out to be an excellent family gathering of a party of 14. The whole experience from making reservation to the dining experience has been excellent. Cinq was very accommodating with a large party given it's HRW. Gave us a private room and our severs were very attentive. The continuous flow of...

I love a small boutique hotel and this one does not disappoint! It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had booked for just one evening and ended up stay for 3. It is a true gem!

Celebrated my sister's birthday by staying at La Colombe D'Or. While it is definitely more suited for couples, it was still nice. Stopped by the bar for a nightcap, and the bartender really made us feel welcome. Told us a little history of the hotel, and gave us a tour to see the event space. Only issue is that it...

If you are looking for an interesting place to stay in Houston, this is it. Once the home of Walter William Fondren, founder of the inappropriately named Humble Oil & Refining Co., this is a grand mansion in the old style. The place is filled to the brim with paintings, and each of the rooms is named for an artist,...

Here is your chance to live like an oil baron! This old home, now a B&B with a lot of charm, has in its current form hosted Presidents, tycoons, diplomats, and movie stars, as well as its share of regular folk...you never know who is down the hall. The dining is superior, and each room boasts a private dining area....

I booked a room here as a special surprise for my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed! The service of the staff was excellent. We booked the Renoir room, which had an enclosed terrace attached. Beautiful decor and architecture. Lots of places to eat and things to do in the immediate area. We had a great time.
