This place is 30 years old inside and looks it. There were no USB ports, there is no refrigerator and there is no coffee machine. Everything needs an update. The furniture is old and scuffed. It looks like a low end Vegas hotel inside. The ground were beautiful but that was it. For people form the US COVID testing is in the next town, there is nothing at the Village or the hotels.

When checking in we were assigned a room in one of two floor side lodges. Upon lugging our luggage up two sets of stairs, our keycard did not open our door. i had to go all the way back to the lobby to get assistant. We were re-assigned a first floor room in another building. I was taken back by the lack of electrical sockets in this room. I was in Europe for 21 days to that point and every hotel including the two stars had more plugs availalble. Also, no air and it was hot. This experience did not meet the starndards I have for Disney. The personnel was great.

just spent a 2N/3D in Disney Sequoia Lodge. First with the good points, the front Desk staff is smilling, welcoming and overall very friendly. Location is of a nice walking distance to the Disney Village and the parks entrance and avoid the flow coming from the Public car park. I met a couple of issues with the set up of my Hotel Charge service which did not work well on 1st day but ok afterwards. The lobby is still very cosy and refreshing but the hotel interest is now only in the main building. we were in a lodge room 5** near the pool (closed til summer for renovation), rooms are overused and do not live up to the rate one pays to be here (3 stars hotel at the rate of a 4 stars with quality inside of a 2 stars). furnitures are exhausted, equipment and amenities to a minimum, garbage found in drawers and ice box upon arrival (issue brought to Front Desk attention, gave us a 20EUR gift card....they dont even have the means to solve dissapointments from their own management, I am sorry for the staff dealing with that every day). My wife and I are ultra Disney fans and this will not block us from coming back but it does not reflect well on what the quality should be in Disney in view of the budget that the company asks from its guests... everything is just too expensive now. I dont think we will come back in the SL before a full renovation at least, not worth it.

Having stayed in all the Disney hotels in Paris I would definitely choose to come back to Seqouia. Check in was busy but we did arrive just after 11am which was also checking out time they did get through the line quickly and we were soon on the way to the park! really like that they give you the magic pass now rather than the room key and the half board vouchers its so much easier! Room was located in one of the lodges a few minutes walk from the reception it was very quiet and we didn't hear any noise when we were in the room, yes the decor is a little old fashioned but the bed was very comfy. Its actually easier to walk to the park from the hotel rather than wait for the bus takes a few minutes to walk to the Disney village then onto the park. Breakfast was pretty busy however food was nice and we always got a table straight away. Pool was not open and a lot of construction going on hence the 4 4 stars rather than 5 but would 100% come back!

If you are expecting a modern all singing and dancing hotel, this is not it! Our room was very clean and tidy but for some reason this hotel is almost deliberately kept old fashioned in keeping with its theme. All a bit weird really, like staying in a museum. The shuttle bus are driven by lunatics, they have no consideration for people standing (one lady went flying an banged her head and the river wouldn't stop despite her being badly injured) - if travelling on these make sure children are sat down! The hotel is in easy walking distance around the lake, 10 minutes at most. Restaurant is typical European mix variety. Breakfast - is a lot of choice but do not expect English style food - this is not what they provide. Plenty of fruit and pastries but not typical English hot food. Evening meal - again, lots of choice, but do not expect English food. Basically, most people are really really rude and do not queue for anything so either be prepared to wait politely or just join in the mayhem and sort your kids out first, because that's what everyone else does, especially at the drinks stations. Staff in the restaurants can sometimes appear a bit rude but to be honest it looks a horrible job with so much chaos going on. * There is a shop in the hotel that sells all the Disney merchandise as well as a small selection of snacks. ** After evening meal there is a Disney character that appears by the shop for the photo and signing the autograph books. I understand this happens every night and is usually a different character every night, although while we were there is was Goofy both nights hen we walked past. *** Really really annoyingly, the swimming pool is shut at this hotel at the moment and you can't use any of the others at different hotels. Not sure how long its shut for but they don't easily advertise this until you arrive.

On arrival and with two 2 year olds tired form the journey, the time was 1440, a resonable time you would expect your room to be available? Now at this point I do understand that rooms are available from 1500 so was happy to wait. I was inofmred that no rooms (x2) had been allocated yet but should be available at 1500. Fast forward I waited until 1520 before speaking with customer services again and one young lady took my magic pass card and said '1 minute', dissapered and then somehow slipped back 10 minutes later and started serving other guests. I only know this as I had to speak with another cast member who huntered her down and the finally allocated me the two rooms at 1540. Great start! The rooms themsleves were dusty and grubby, with even our toilet shelf displaying a boot mark imprinted. On day 3 I became unwell following breakfast within the lodge and the only reason I suspect it was food poisening was the exact same thing happened to my father in law when we ate there on our last trip, coincednce maybe? Day 4 was check out day and I was still not well, recovering from D&V so my wife asked the cast members if it was possible for a late checkout, they agreed until 1300 but needed both sets of magic cards to activate. My brother then took his to customer services and they said nothing was on file so they couldnt do it. So my wife, again went back and she had to phsyically point out the cast member that had agreed as she was then refused. On returning to the room (still pre check out time) my wife was now locked out of our room and had to gain access through the ajoining room. Its like a circus act. Between around 1000 and 1300 the cleaners repeatedly knocked on the door to kick us out, having already cleaned our other room before we had checked out. Theres clearly issues with communication on a basic level. For arguments sake I have compared this reveiw to 2 other visits to Disney Paris, and I have visited disney in China, Japan, Florida (8 visits) and California so have plenty of experiance spanning the globe and over time. Shocking experinace

We booked a Golden Forest Club Room, which gave all four of us 4 days access to both Disney parks, inc. breakfast & afternoon tea in our own club room. We were upgraded free of charge to a suite, which was massive, comfortable & in a quiet part of the hotel. The room could do with a bit of TLC, but was still lovely. The club room speeds breakfast up, so you can take advantage of both parks opening an hour early & gives you a chance of a relaxing break in the afternoon . Well worth paying for. The food was good & all of the staff were really efficient & friendly. I would happily stay here again.

After the excitement of arriving and loving the hotel we were so disappointed with what followed. When we got to our room we first noticed that the toilet flusher had a lot of brown marks on it. The toilet was also very dirty inside. I called down to reception who sent a cleaner who entered the room without knocking and came with no cleaning materials or gloves. I could hear flushing and she called me to look, but the toilet was still the same. I showed her the flusher and she scraped off the brown marks with her thumb nail (no gloves). She then touched surfaces and the door handle to leave our room, thankfully we had cleaner with us so we could clean handles to leave the room to go to reception to complain. Another cleaner eventually came and cleaned the toilet. In the meantime whilst unpacking we found more and more problems. Brown splash marks down the wall in the bathroom, red finger prints on the wall by the sink, dirty bed lined, rubbish in the drawers, pringles and the tube under the bed with colouring pencils and packaging, the bambi postcard left in the room had a dirty finger print and the floor needed hoovering. We went back down to reception with photos. Had to speak to someone who called for someone else to speak to us, so we had to retell the story, who then called for someone else so we had to go through everything again and asked to see the room. We asked to change rooms. This took in the end 3.5hrs to sort. We ended up having to cancel our dining plans and missed the fireworks show. We were given a gift card of 20euros for the inconvenience. I asked if we could at least have a cocktail in the bar too as it was my birthday and I was told no. Although the new room was clean we then had a problem with how hot the room was for our 3 nights. None of our windows opened at all and we were told the air con doesn't get switched on until the Summer. We were lucky that we stayed during a really warm week in March, but we struggled so much with sleep. Waking up feeling sick. We had terrible sleep there. I emailed with a complaint the day after I got back and that was 7 weeks ago. Still no response only an automated reply saying they are busy and not to email again. I don't think this is acceptable at all. We are regulars going to Disneyworld and this was our 3rd trip to DLP. We feel so disappointed as this is not how we expect to be treated by Disney.

It is the second time we stayed at Sequoia Lodge and it's getting better as time goes by! we use the express Luggage service so we spent all our magical time in the parks - no check-in or check-out was necessary since our magic passes collected at the station are also room keys, which is so convenient! Breakfast was perfect as well! only 5 mins walking to the parks & village!

Just returned from a fabulous 3 days in Disney, during which we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff and we loved the breakfast choices too. Lovely to sit out on the verandah in the sun and had the pool etc been open, think these would have been great too, Very comfortable beds and we liked the idea of being able to have 4 drinks a day for the machine, included in the price. Kettle and tea bags etc would have improved the room and we were really disappointed with the towels… too small by far, not soft and fluffy and not enough of them for the room. I’m sure given the cost of the rooms, you could purchase better towels. The rooms were pretty basic too…a few more ‘homely’ touches would have helped. Would stay here again though as these were minor gripes and overall we were happy. Thank you
