Nice to see once, but wouldn't do it again. Way too expensive for what it is. Even if you have little ones, it is short but sweet compared to the lines you have to wait in to get inside. We had an appointed time to be there.

The Gaylord is beautiful by the way and I was just promoting all the great child and adult friendly things to see and do to a friend. I have made it a tradition to take my now 9 year old daughter each year, as my holiday visition. Each year, the parking attendants are thugish in appearance and conversation (unkept/dirty, careless,...

Not a place I would have picked to stay myself, but was booked here for a business conference. After getting over this almost comically large and Texan-themed hotel complete with a life-sized replica of the Alamo, I actually started to enjoy the kitschy no-subtlety-here charm of the place. Pictures don't do justice to how massive this place is in reality....

Loved this resort, myself, 3 yr old son, and hubby stayed 2 nights this past wknd and we loved the christmas feel and decor. we loved all the activities we did including: making ginger bread people, meet and greet w/ gingy and Madagascar characters, ICE featuring Frosty, swam in both their pools, milk and cookies w/ mrs clause, light show...

We saw ICE! yesterday with our 4 1/2 y.o. First of all, it was VERY expensive - $29.99/adults and $16.99 for a child! The actual ICE! experience lasted about 45 minutes and that's with going down the free ice slide inside the exhibit (they have a paid slide too, outside the exhibit which we didn't go on). The theme was...

Upon arriving there was a dirty dried wash cloth hanging over the shower rod-clearly housekeeping missed this. The only other thing that let me to know details of cleanliness were overlooked was a hair clip I found under the luggage rack. Both things I chalked up to outliers. When it came time for check-out though--COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I booked my room...

Stayed at this property for a recent convention. The rooms themselves were very nice, although nothing better or worse than many nice hotels. Very clean, and I was lucky enough to have a small balcony looking out onto the "Riverwalk" area so I could sit and enjoy the amazing holiday lights. It is a trek to the convention center area,...

We were there for a company Christmas party and were pretty impressed with everything. Room was great, bed was comfortable, the Christmas decorations and presentation were remarkable. The place is a beehive of activity, and great for small children. We were disappointed with the coffee shop on the premise though. It looks like Starbucks, but it''s only serving Starbucks coffee....

Supposed to be a special surprise for our visit to our daughter and son in law who live in Texas. Well, the room was nice, what you expect from a high end hotel. Gorgeous grounds and lighted walks and trees. The Christmas displays in the atrium were worth a long walk around and some great photo opts. Service seemed over...

I am writing this as a reviewer who went on a 'peak day' (Sat Dec 6th) with two four year olds. We enjoyed some of it and found some parts unbearable.....here are my tips to make this even workable on a weekend..... We took uber / taxi right to the front lobby entrance. Much easier than $17 parking. So pretty...
