It was fun staying in an old fort with 3 foot deep walls. The AC worked well and the beds were comfy. There was a little kitchen with a frig and coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom had a shower. The commode worked but had...More

What a wonderful way to truly experience the meaning of what happened here. The quarters were comfortable, but not fancy. I wish our whole group could have stayed here, but it only sleeps four. The best was being on the grounds in solitude.

Talk about staying ion magical history. The Presidio has been painstakingly restored to its authentic state from the 1800s and the Captain's Quarters (where you stay the night) are wonderful. The quarters consist of two bedrooms, a living area and a kitchen (you can stay...More

You'll need to call for rates and to make reservations. We stayed in March, had two adults & two children, and paid about $180/nt. Call 361-645-3752 between 9am and 4:45pm.
