We stayed at the Hangar hotel for one night during a trip across the country. Staff was very nice. Room was lovely. Airport diner food and staff great. Enjoyed watching other planes land on the runway. Nice sunset view. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night.

My husband and I got lucky and got the last room for a last minute trip. The rooms were clean and comfy. I loved the theme. I was worried it would be loud considering it is on an airfield but it wasn't. The bar was friendly, the bartenders were awesome. The atmosphere was great. I honestly didn't look at the...

This hotel features large, clean rooms that have a military motif. Located right of the airport it is a real get away from the conventional hotel. Prior military get a discount. You can enjoy your morning or evening coffee on the large porches that have numerous rocking chairs. Let the world go by as you relax.

This hotel felt like a trip back in time to the 1940s and WWII era. Hotel looked great and staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms had the 1940s look with the black/white tiled floors and toilet. The bar, "Officers Club", was a relaxing atmosphere and followed the 1940s theme well. Bartenders service was great and they...

This was a huge surprise. I loved the decorations, the staff, the setting, and the diner next store. Our room was huge and clean (other than the crickets who wanted to visit. Apparently they have a cricket problem in Texas once in a while.) There is always coffee/tea available (none in your room), and they put out cookies and snacks...

What a treasure this hotel is. I was not sure of staying at a hotel that is actually on a runway, but the Gillespie County Airport is small and we got to watch small planes land a take off from the patio. The rooms are so comfortable with lots of great amenities. The chairs covered in leather flight jacket material...

Didn't really know what to expect my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law chose this venue for their wedding. Loved the 40's and Pacific style theme this place has. The wedding venue is great and things seemed to flow quite flawlessly. The staff is great and friendly. It was fun watching the planes fly in and out of the airport during down...

My husband loves planes so he had been talking about coming and staying here for a while. The decor is nice and the rooms are large and clean. No mini fridge or microwave though, which was disappointing because we brought back some leftovers from dinner. The rooms were a bit pricey, but we really enjoyed the live piano music in...

We stayed at this hotel because of its appealing decor. I will say that the hotel is pricy for the accommodations and in comparison to the other hotels and B&Bs in Fredericksburg. The idea and decor are unique, but you don't have to sleep there to visit and take pictures. We booked our room via their website. It appears the...
