Walnut Canyon cabins as a first class establishment. The customer service is outstanding… Dave and his family put on a great experience. They are very personable if you have to call for questions. The breakfast included in the fridge when you arrive is eggs from their chickens, sausage and biscuits and several other things, for your use, that are included...

Our 7th Anniversary Trip was so perfect! The Tree House cabin was the perfect getaway. Loved the fresh eggs, comfy bed, pretty view and patio. No complaints whatsoever. Loved waking up and eating breakfast on the patio with all the breakfast goodies :)

Would like to first point out how generous David was. We had signed up to stay in the Siesta cabin, but when someone cancelled on him the day of, he offered us the Treehouse at no extra charge. The cabin itself was wonderful; full kitchen and utensils(we were grateful to find a corkscrew), farm fresh eggs(!), all the bathroom toiletries....

I stayed in Siesta cabin. Has no view but it was just wonderful. It was like a home away from home. It was like staying with friends. Cute back porch, great for coffee in the mornings. Very clean, stocked with everything anyone would need. I can't wait to come back and try a cabin with a view, but Siesta is...

This is an excellent facility for an outdoor wedding. We had ours at the end of September and enjoyed everthing the cabins have to offer. The gazebo was perfect for the ceremony, with a breathtaking view and easy access. We reserved the entire facility for our wedding party and got an excellent review from each of the guests. The cabins...

Fabulous week! Great cabin- exactly as advertised. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms, with a porch for viewing birds, deer, nature or stars. Plenty of activities just a short drive away. Host was very kind, considerate, and thoughtful. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Full kitchen, comfy bed, great view from upper deck of tree top cabin. BBQ outside with picnic table, just around the corner from Alamo Springs Cafe and Old Tunnel State Park. Very clean and quiet. Close to Comfort, Sisterdale and Fredericksburg. Glad we found it, wish we found it sooner.

It is unbelievable how many people have been so kind. One customer not to long ago said that she read many of my reviews but was a bit skeptical that they were all excellent, but understood why when she arrived!! Thank you, thank you to all who have so graciously given there time to share their thoughts. David

Had a wonderful time, would definitely visit again. About a 20 minute drive from Fredericksburg but the scenery is beautiful along the winding Old San Antonio Road. The cabins are clean and well appointed but the best part is the amazing view off the private deck of the cabin.

We were very lucky to run across this little piece of heaven. The cabin was so clean and comfortable! we were greeted by the owner, David and immediately became friends. The view from the back deck was so peaceful and beautiful overlooking the canyon and the deer who came to visit one evening.

We stayed in The Woods cabin and absolutely loved our weekend there. The views and peacefulness were awesome. Close enough to Fredericksburg to enjoy the town but far enough out to avoid the hustle and bustle. We loved drinking our coffee on the back porch in the mornings watching the deer come by, listening to the turkeys and even saw...
