We had a great ladies retreat/getaway at the Chuckwagon Inn B&B. Sam and Becky Higgins were the ultimate hosts. The cabins are fun and the breakfasts they serve are superb. Sam entertained us with funny stories! This is the best couple ever to serve you with a smile and a good hot breakfast. Don't miss out on this wonderful getaway...

While staying at the Chuckwagon Inn, we experienced 5 star hotel quality combined with the quiet and calm of the countryside.. We stayed in the Bollinger cabin which was decorated beautifully and had wonderful bedding and towels. The cabin has a jetted jacuzzi and a small kitchenette with a fridge. The front porch is amazing with a swing and rocking...

My husband and I arrived on Friday evening and were welcomed with open arms! Having car trouble on the way up Sam and Becky were so generous they let us use their truck so we wouldn't have to order pizza on our first night! That meant so much to us and we will definitely be back to stay with them....

We had a great stay at the Chuck Wagon Inn B&B. The owners, Becky and Sam are the kindest, most welcoming, gracious hosts. We enjoyed having breakfast with them in their home. They are so sweet and fun to talk with. They were knowledgable of the area and provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in...

Clean room and amazing breakfast. Becky and Sam, the hosts and owners, are great people. Close to town. And close to Cabernet Grille! The rooms and clean and air conditioned very nicely. This is not like staying at "grandma's house"--which many bed and breakfasts can be. This is a cabin feel with romance. We will stay again and again and...

There is NO place else you should stay in Fredricksburg. C.W. is quiet, clean and gorgeous. We stayed for our 3rd stay in the Mustang cabin. The bathroom is spacious with a large tub and shower. Water is hot. The cabin was clean. And the sheets on the bed....pure luxury. Free Wifi. Good TV. The cabins are cool (good A/C)...

As you've seen from the other reviews, this place is fantastic. Wife and I were absolutely amazed by the location when we pulled up. Far enough away from downtown to escape the traffic and cars, but close enough for a 3 minute drive in. We stayed at the Pear Tree Cottage and the room is perfect. Calm and relaxing for...

Reviewing a little late but I still wanted to say what a fabulous time we had!! The breakfast was amazing and so were the accommodations. The owners provided wonderful conversation and it turned out we had mutual friends! We hope to go back and visit soon.

We had an amazing weekend celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Our room was clean and comfortable. The country breakfasts were plentiful and filling. The owners, Sam and Betty, were attentive and great conversationalists. The king sized bed was welcoming after a long day of wine tasting and site seeing. The kitchenette was stocked for morning coffee and evening wine (BYOB)....
