When our family wants to get away, there is only one place to go. Quiet, out of the way and plenty of wildlife to see. Sit on the porch, head over Main Street or catch a band in Luckenbach. All just minutes away. You will see tons of stars not tons of cars!

Had a recent stay (November) at Tonkawaya Ranch. Everything was great, We stayed in the wrangler cabin and couldn't have loved it more. Will definitely be back in the future. The wrangler is great because it has 2 decks, so if it is windy and raining (like it was for our stay), you just switch sides and enjoy the outdoors...

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay in the Hill Country where we planned to spend a few days visiting wineries. We were SO glad we found this place. Great jumping off point for a visit to this area. This property is so unique and just the experience we were looking for. It is a few...

Very relaxing holiday in the Hill Country, wonderful, caring hosts, Joe and Becky. Great storytelling around the campfire at night!! warm delicious breakfasts in the morning, homemade, and hand delivered!! Great scenery, open fields, with deer and jackrabbits! You will not find a better place to stay, west of Austin. We will return. Paul and Nancy, Minnetonka, Minnesota

Girls Getaway in Fredericksburg for Wine and Food Fest this past weekend. Tonkawaya was the perfect place to stay! Our cabin...the Wrangler...was decorated so cute. All the beds were comfy ~~ important after a long day of shopping and wine sipping. =) Breakfast was delicious each morning....and delivered by Joe with a smile! Becky makes the fluffiest eggs and that...

After reading the other reviews, I was excited to take my sister and her friend who are visiting from Canada to Fredericksburg and have an overnight stay at Tonkawaya Ranch. No surprises with the cabin as you can see pictures online. What was surprising was that the sofa bed was a lumpy bumpy mess and we discovered at bed time...

Hello Again! Thank you for the candid review. Your concerns are well taken, and I thank you for the opportunity to address them. First, excellent point on the sofa bed. Sofa beds are pretty notorious for being uncomfortable. I immediately inspected the mattress - couldn't find lumps or bumps, but did note that the metal frame can be felt where...

My husband and I stayed at Tonkawaya Ranch this past weekend, for two nights, in the Little White House/Cabin. When we travel, whether it's in-state or out, I appreciate being able to come to Tripadvisor for reviews and pictures. Finding this property was just that - a Find! Becky and Joe have about 70 acres if I'm not mistaken, just...

This place was absolutely amazing! We stayed in The Little White House. It was perfect in every way. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Becky and Joe were really accommodating for our group and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. It was a little bit outside of town, which made the experience even better! We were not...

Stayed at Tonkawaya Ranch with a group of friends (3 couples) in the Wrangler Cabin. A perfect location for our trip to Fredericksburg (just a few minutes drive into town). Beautiful property, cabins are very clean and well kept. The food alone is worth the stay- INCREDIBLE!

Kids and I stayed here for a Hill Country getaway (Pedernales Falls, Enchanted Rock, Fredricksburg, Longhorn Cavern). Stayed a Mon and Tue night (the week most schools start) so we had the place to ourselves, which made it extra peaceful. The Wrangler cabin was awesome. It had everything we needed. It was quaint and cozy. The front porch was great...
