We celebrated our twelfth anniversary here this weekend and had an incredibly relaxing time. The little cabin gave us the perfect home-away-from-home feel that we needed. The double-hammock gave us lots of quiet reading time, and the view was absolutely stunning at sunset and then again when the stars came out. Ell and Jeff were so sweet and made us...

This place is magical. Every detail is carefully thought out. The hosts have done some amazing engineering to provide a totally unique environment combining antique furnishings with modern eco friendly building structures. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and immensely comfortable. The bird life is vibrant and the creek, relaxing. Conveniently located within biking distance of the stunning Perdanales Falls State...

This is the perfect place if your looking for beauty, peace and quiet. The hosts were very nice and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable.Lying in the hammock and listening to the creek was exactly what we needed to unwind from city life. I highly recommend this destination.

This place was a wonderful place for a getaway. Ell and Jeff were some of the nicest people i have met. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and the best part of it all is that me and my girlfriend had the whole place to our selfs. The place is secluded that it feels really nice getting out of...

My best friend and I took the holiday weekend for a girls getaway and stayed at Tex Zen Dreams. Whether we were exploring the beautiful land or visiting with Ell and Jeff our faces were never without a smile. The property is breathtaking and the owners are sincere and sweet as can be. They were very welcoming and made sure...

Hey Kiley, Just want to compliment you on the great photos you posted of our property and especially the ones down at the creek gazebo and bridge. Glad you were able to experience the beauty and peacefulness at Tex-Zen Hollow while the creek was flowing. The two of you are so sweet and pleasant to talk with – I just...

We had a wonderful weekend at this charming b&b during a hiking weekend. The location is very secluded and the grounds and amenities are comfortable and homey. Ms Ell was a gracious hostess who showed us around when we first arrived and was available if we ever needed anything. She makes a wonderful breakfast and we had an egg frittata...

This is the first time I use TripAdvisor to review a place, but I feel like this place deserves the best rating! We spent a weekend at Tex-Zen Dreams back in April for a getaway trip. Right from the moment we arrived, Elle and Jeff made us feel like we were at home. They showed us how everything worked and...

From the beginning of the trip, being greeted by Ell, we knew this was going to be a place we could make memories that would last a life time. The room, surroundings, breakfast (handmade by Ell), and stories to challenge all stories, were all delightful. We would go again and recommend anyone wanting to relax alone with each other or...

It was so nice meeting your family and to have you here if just for one night over the Memorial weekend. We were so impressed by your very well-mannered children, but that's just a reflection on your parenting skills. We were relieved that you were comfortable at Camp Zen during the record flood we and the hill country area experienced...
