We were expecting more based on several reviews we read on a variety of websites. The room was ok but the furniture not very comfortable. Our biggest complaint was with getting our room serviced. We had a full day of sightseeing and looking forward to a bit of relaxing in our room before we showered and went to dinner only...

The hotel staff, from Front Desk Supervisor to the bellman and valet, made every effort to personally assist me and provide for every need. The hotel is very elegant and relaxing. What a treat! And very reasonable rates are avaiable by booking in advance with travel service providers. My favorite hotel in Dallas!

This hotel was truly elegant and had the most friendly staff I have ever encountered while traveling. Everyone was happy and helpful. We stayed two nights. The location is perfect and is in walking distance of many other great restaurants. I felt very safe. Lots of Downtown Dallas entertainment options close by. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was...

I had a horrible experience in this hotel. My necklace was stolen from our room. After having traveled all over the globe all my life, including visits in developing countries, for the first time, something was stolen from me at a hotel. It had to happen at the Adolphus in Dallas, Texas! I left my necklace on the night stand,...

Dear Guest, Your comments provide a cautionary tale for those traveling with jewelry that can easily be lost, misplaced or stolen. Hotels do not compensate travelers in these situations because there is simply no way to verify what happened. Guests will report an item stolen, only to find it later in their luggage, and so on. In the meantime, hotel...

Great place to relax, we stay every year. If you make reservations in advance, you can get very reasonable rates with available discounts such as military, state, etc.. The common areas are outstanding for entertaining away while staying in.

We purchased the "Deluxe King or Two Double Room: One-Night Stay for Two with Valet Parking". When I called and tried to book a room, no king room was available, so they gave us a queen. I was not pleasant about that. The hotel itself was beautiful and quite different from the usual hotels. We love the lobby! For some...

I stayed here earlier this week on business. The staff were great and the rooms were clean. The place is kind of a flashback to the 1950s so if you enjoy that type of atmosphere you will like this hotel. I prefer a more modern feel, but it's always good to switch it up every now and then. Everything was absolutely wonderful. It is a stunning historic hotel right in the heart of Dallas. There are no negatives here. The lobby bar was energetic and the sitting areas beautiful. I really liked the palm trees in the main sitting area. You really need to see it to appreciate it.
