This is an outstanding destination. I have stayed overnight for the past three years and even recommended to my sisters for our Girls Weekend in 2016. We stayed in the Old Homestead and loved it so much rebooked it for our weekend in summer of 2017! Beautiful grounds, great staff and much to do in Comfort and surrounding area. Great...

Very quaint and scenic short distance to Fredericksburg & San Antonio. Nice staff and good food :) We stayed in the Homestead cottage which can comfortably room 2-6 people. It's filled with antique furniture but also has modern conveniences. The master bathroom has a nice large tub - perfect for a couples retreat.

Tucked away by a lovely creek with onlooking deer, this historical German town has a lovely arrangement with small cottages interwoven among the pecan trees to give any traveler a restful sleep who will then wake up to a very hearty and healthy breakfast.

The acomodations face the creek, which is open for nice strolls and have a wonderful view. The B&B is located near the (few) blocks that comprise the town center (not much). The staff is very helpful(we requested gluten free options and they were very solicitous to comply).

The Meyer combines beautiful rooms, a great breakfast (try the bread pudding!), and a gorgeous setting about an hour from San Antonio. The rooms are sumptuously appointed with great yesteryear decor and surprises like claw foot tubs, in room jacuzzis, lavish beds and comfy furniture. There's ample breakfast choices and plenty to eat. Breakfast is served in a lovely building...

A very enjoyable place to stay, with lots of charm and character. Meyer B & B is a picturesque setting with charming and spacious rooms. The porches face the creek where you can view wildlife at its best. There are picnic tables and chairs on the property located near the creek, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere....

My sister and I enjoyed the weekend at Meyer's. Our room was fabulous and quiet. We watched deer graze at breakfast and dusk. Admired the Longhorn's that are on the property. The whole area is so quaint and charming. The breakfast was superb. We will definitely be returning.

I am not used to paying $120.00 a night for a cramped room with no sink in the bathroom, no refrigerator and no microwave oven. The rooms are typical "cute" B and B rooms. The rooms get much higher for larger rooms. However, high dollar for average seems to be the rule for Comfort, Texas. What is not average about...

Meyer is quiet, comfortable, immaculate, well managed and very close to town. The peaceful setting around Meyer B&B cannot be matched anywhere. We had a wonderful and in fact booked our next stay already. Watching the deer across the creek, the long horns lounging next to the huge back yard, listening to the birds and the breeze in the trees...
