We were bought a two night B and B deal with dinner on the first night (Living Social) as a Christmas present by our daughter. I don't know how much she paid for it, but judging by the prices of everything there, I can quite safely say that she was robbed. Firstly, the accommodation was in an annex building which...

The accommodation here was beautiful - very clean, warm and big! We had a king size bed which was very comfortable, a good sized TV, good hospitality tray and a lovely bathroom!! The bath was wonderful, the water very hot, and I was so pleased to see shampoo and conditioner (I'd forgotten mine!) We stayed 2 nights, with dinner on...

Excellent food and value for money! Stayed for 1 night at £99 for dinner bed and breakfast. The staff were nice and for the money spent, the food exceeded my expectations. Will definitely want to return!

Shocked by our experience here frankly. My partner booked us a room at the pub. We arrived 3.30pm and were shown our room. After a short while we noted that the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom, and there was black mould above the sink. The room was tawdry anyway with cobwebs, stains and grime shadows on the emulsion....

We tried this on a Living Social deal that seemed very reasonable. Took a bit of finding, but that added to the experience. The rooms were all separate outbuildings that were renovated to a high standard, and the views were terrific. The pub itself was a typical country inn with a roaring fire and nice cask ales. The restaurant had...

The superior double room was lovely. Huge comfortable bed, spa bath, plenty of space and view has sunrise over the caravan site. Better than it sounds. There is plenty of parking available and the staff are friendly. Well placed to walk and in easy reach of Masham a couple of miles up the road. Evening meals are tasty and better...

Just got back from a two night break at The Black Swan. The pub was excellent with great food and a gorgeous log burner to sit and have a drink around. The staff were very nice too. Our bedroom was lovely, with a great outlook over the fields. Would highly recommend this place.

Decided to take a trip to this family friendly pub just inside the Yorkshire Dales a few miles last Masham. The pub and restaurant have benefitted from a recent refit but still you get a friendly welcome and a decent pint of the local brews. We opted for the traditional Sunday lunch and was not disappointed as the quality and...
