Stayed here for two nights after stays in Fredericksburg and San Antonio. Feel the weekend rate is very competitive with places in Fredericksburg. Took a room with a king bed, lovely big bedroom, big bed, small bathroom, all beautifully presented. No breakfast included but nibbles and water in the room plus coffee maker and fresh coffee each morning in the...

I stayed here during the Blanco County Lavender festival and have nothing but great things to say about it. The owners were fabulous and helpful and the room was clean, comfy and cozy....especially after a long day of being outside. I could not have improved anything.

We found this place by the charm and how beautiful it appeared when driving by. The rates were great and the ambiance was exceptional. There were chips and cookies and nuts in a basket on the table, bottled water in the fridge, a home style quilt on the bed, and home style sheets. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the...

Thank you Deborah and Ralph for taking such loving care of this iconic roadside motel. The big chain hotels/motels with their cookie cutter rooms ain't got nothing on the Blanco County Inn. Truly a home a way from home experience. My sister and I had a fantastic weekend roaming the hill county and staying at your wonderful place just made...

The Blanco County Inn The Only Place To Stay when you're in the Blanco Area!! The Owners are the most Personable and Accommodating Inn owners, IMHO, that are on this planet! The Rooms are Actually Clean Enough that you can stand on the Carpet, or the Tile Floor, in your Bare Feet, and not worry! The BCI is Close to...

Considering all of the great reviews, I almost feel guilty writing this. I rely on the T.A. community to make my travel picks and I have to say I am a bit disappointed in this one. I will agree with the others - the owners are lovely, caring people and do make an effort to let you know that they...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We let our customers decide whether they want to do nothing, or savor all the things Blanco & the Texas Hill Country have to offer. With that said we are an 80 year old motel, with rooms that have been remodeled over the last few years. All this to give our customers, and future friends, a charming "Hill Country" Experience! Being (we believe the motel was built in1932) we are 80 years old; we are the oldest lodging in Blanco County. Also, we are one of the oldest lodging establishments in the hill country. Wanting to slow down the frenzied pace of corporate life, my wife and I jumped at the chance to live in the hill country, and run a quaint little inn. As our retirement project we have had fun restoring the motel to a quaint "Boutique Motel" and meet people and new friends from all over the world. Ask us about some fresh eggs or soon our "Blanco County Honey!" ... more   less
