We were lucky enough to win a trip to this beautiful ranch in Bandera, Texas. We would not normally be into the whole country music, rural Texas thing but this place was unbelievable. We fell in love with it instantly, we had the cutest cabin with a little porch swing. The hospitality we received was second to none and the...

This was to be our seventh ranch experience and we didn't quite know what to expect. We have been on ranches that have been very upmarket, and ranches that have been quite simple. The Dixie Dude Ranch is as good as they get!!!! Set in the most incredibly beautiful countryside of the Texan Hill Country, the location is stunning. The...

The Dixie Dude Ranch was a highlight of my family's vacation. Kids didn't want to leave. Nice and relaxed. The horseback riding was nice and it was to do a different trail each time. The souvenir keepsake my boys bought was priceless. It was a horseshoe with the date, their name and their horses name. Staff was very friendly and...

Dixie Dude Ranch is a step back in time. If you are wanting a resort this is not it. It is rustic, no frills, no internet, no cell phone, family experience. This is really a place to disconnect from the world and connect with the ones you are with. I can't say enough about Clay and his staff. Wonderfully nice...

We recently stayed in rooms 4 and 5 and they really needed a through update, you had to make your own entertainment as there was no one in charge to take control. much preferred The Silver Spur when we stayed there a few years back. Sorry guys, staff were ok but facilities let you down.

We came for one night with our 8 year old son and had a wonderful time! We made it time for the last horseback ride of the day (4pm), had enough time to unwind for a bit before dinner was served. It was nice to disconnect from technology and connect with each other and some of the other families that...

If you are looking for a relaxing, non stressful getaway then this is for you! No cell service, little to no internet service, not a ton of scheduled activities. It was perfect! Food: To die for! Home cooking at it's best. If you are on a diet, best stay away from this place. Staff: Extraordinary! Friendly, helpful, courteous. True southern...

This was an excellent stay for a couple of days but not filled with adrenalin pumping activities if that's your style. The wife loved the horse riding (horse walks) which I found a little slow paced but we both really enjoyed hiking and relaxing in the Jacuzzi of an evening. The highlight of the stay though was definitely the southern...

We had 2 cabins with connecting rooms called Jingle & Jangle. Both had their own bathroom and air con. One room had a large double with a fire place, the other 2 small doubles. Both had swinging chairs outside on the porch. Lovely to wake up to the cats and dogs greeting us on the porch. On arrival we had...
