Sean is the most gracious host you could ever hope to meet; nothing is too much trouble for him. He very kindly drove us to the station on our last morning as we had a long trip back to France, cooked breakfast at the time we wanted it and made us a pot of tea and coffee upon arrival which...

I arrived here in Storm Doris to find Sean sawing through half a tree which had blown down in their yard. In spite of dealing with this, an escaped trampoline and a sick donkey, Sean made me a delicious evening meal which met my complicated dietary requirements. The room was warm and comfortable and met my needs well for somewhere...

We stayed at Woodlands on a short trip to Ely and Wicken Fen and enjoyed its location -- just 10 minutes or so by car from Ely but far enough away to feel quite rural and relaxing. The room was simple but clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water, good heat, and a view across the field where birds...

We stayed here with friends for 2 nights so we could visit the cathedral and other attractions in Ely. Sean is a great host, making us very welcome with a cup of tea on arrival. He has a great welcoming attitude which is wonderful and so appreciated. The breakfast is great with lots of choices and on the second night...

We had a most enjoyable weekend at The Woodlands. The farmhouse was cosy and welcoming, the rooms warm, clean and tidy and all the plumbing worked well. But what makes this B&B really stand out against others is the warm welcome by our host, Sean, who also happens to be an excellent chef. He cooked great breakfasts and a lovely...

We can't thank Sean enough for our recent stay at Woodlands. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and very comfortable (TV, hairdryer, good shower). The breakfast was also very tasty with plenty of breakfast items to choose from. We think Woodlands is a hidden gem and would highly recommend it for a stay in Ely.

Another visit to Ely for the folk festival. Another lovely stay at the Woodlands. Beautiful surroundings and made very welcome by Sean. As always very good accommodation and superb food including the "anticipated" morning coffee. Many thanks Sean. See you next year. Highly recommended.

We spent a night at the Woodlands on our way up to Kings Lynn on a bicycling holiday. The Woodlands is tucked away in a quiet spot in Witchford. We found it quite easily although it might be more difficult to locate if travelling without a SatNav. The access road was a bit challenging although Sean explained that the recent...

A lovely property which was perfect for what we needed. Sean the owner was really helpful and went over and above with his hospitality and to top it off we had a wonderful full english breakfast the following morning.
