Place could use a good cleaning. Damage in our room from a previous guest but still put us there. Breakfast was very limited but not well kept. Eating area was piled up with old furniture. Staff wad nice location was good. I would hope the issues are from the covid shutdown.
I gave this review an average which is generous, because of some of the issues. We ask the desk clerk when we checked in if we could get janitorial service and we were told that, "Choice Hotels would not allow beds changed or made during our stay, that we could only get towels changed out, and we had to go downstairs with our towels in order to get those changed out. In addition, this hotel needs some TLC, what I mean by that is the hotel needs to be cleaned and needs to be updated, maintenance has patched some areas in the ceilings in the bathroom but never finished them, just painted over the area. The sink kept stopping up in our room, the towel hooks were not on the door they had been broken off, the elevator was very nasty. A stink bug on the furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable, this hotel need some attention.…
Stayed one night. Very clean and comfortable. Recently renovated so everything is in good condition. Shower was hot and good water pressure. Bed was very comfortable. Convenient location. Would stay again
I came here to work on the new geocaching trail that replaced the old on on US 11 N. I was quite pleased - this seems like perhaps a hotel erected by another brand. My room was quite nice and the staff also. I ran into the owner several times - quite a guy. Breakfast was okay, though I have to say i have never really cared for the CH scram led eggs - a bit of hot sauce would be nice. In addition the sausage gravy was full, but no ladle. All in all, I may well come again as the price is quite reasonable for what is received.
This was my second time at this location. When I checked in there was no recognition of member status. Coffee was empty the clerk when informed said of it is about time to make it and they went back into the office. As for the bed it was hard as a rock. The breakfast left a lot to be corrected. Died out eggs that had change color. I think I will try Quality Inn next time. By the way the local Sagebrush was also closed. So Burger King was the next best thing.
