We loved this KOA! We usually tent camp in parks or backpack. Since it was October and very cold at night we rented a cabin. It was super clean and the grounds were very well kept up. We would stay again. Thanks!

The campground personnel were wonderful. Above and beyond great customer service. My daughter used the balloon jump at the playground and liked it. They seemed to have alot of activities for kids. The location was great. While just 1/2 mile or so from downtown, you seldom got the feeling that you were downtown. We did hear a few obnoxious people...

We stayed in a site that backed up to Veterans Park. It was surprisingly very quiet. They were very accommodating when I requested a cabin near our campsite for our teenagers. Our trailer is not large and our girls were able to spread out in the cabin. We were just a few steps from them. We had a perfect stay!

We've stayed here twice now and just love it! The location is perfect, close to everything. The office staff so friendly! We bring our bikes & ride them everywhere! The campground is clean, next to a nice open park, close to the river & they have a lot of amenities.

Good location to the sights but very close quarters. Can be very difficult to get camper through. We only had 30 amp service and no sewer hook up which was disappointing. Electrical wasn't a big issue due to time of year. Bath house was outdated and dump station didn't use a hose you simply dump in an open grate which...

The premium spot was perfect and the campground was well-maintained and safe. Staff were courteous, visible and easily accessible. Pillow jump and pool were a hit with the kids. Hands down the best experience at a campground.

Camped with my sister and a few members of her husband's family. We were able to park near each other. Their bathhouse was clean. The one near us however, had no handicapped toilet stall. I had to stand between the toilet and wall to get in or out of stall. Not much room. I took my granddaughter to play in...

The best thing this campground has going for it is the location. This campground is great if you are camping in a camper. Those sites are great. However, the primitive sites leave quite a bit to be desired. The camp sites are not level, the fire ring is too close to the tent area, the grill was leaning over toward...

This is our second time here. Nice grounds. So close to the main strip and a very nice large park for walking (Patriots Park). Right by the river. Plenty of activities for families with kids too. Will stay again when in the area.

Thank Wendy S

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We have too many changes for 2015 to list them all! This year we are expanding our recreation and have added a Jumping Pillow, Gaga Pit, Frisbee Golf, New Playground, Cornhole, Tetherball and Planned Activities. If that's not enough to keep you busy, check out our new meeting room for your family or group's event! We also have a new RV and boat storage area. Check out our nee Deluxe Cabins and Camp Sites! Campers also appreciate comfortable campsites along the Little Pigeon River as well as tent sites. Enjoy the NEW zero-entry kiddie pool with a rain tree and new Kamp K9 Pet Park. Explore the area: Start with Dollywood theme park (your hosts offer discount tickets which are cash or travelers checks ONLY). You'll find wild rides, a musical theater, the Dolly Parton Museum, local crafts, shops and restaurants. Cross the road to Dollywood's Splash Country for a load of water fun. Take the city trolley right from KOA to the Dollywood entrance and also through the cities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. There are great musical shows in the neighborhood, including the Dixie Stampede which is a half of a mile from us. The Island in Pigeon Forge offers shopping/entertainment. LeConte Center is less than a mile away. Go skating at Ober Gatlinburg resort's indoor ice rink or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. ... more   less
