Great staff at this hotel. They were very helpful. Our room had a fireplace and whirlpool, which were wonderful. It also had very noisy pipes which kept my husband awake. He shut the bathroom door, and that helped a little. The pipes didn't bother me,...More

Yes, it may need a little updating but this hotel was extremely clean and friendly. I liked the fact that they have an overflow room for breakfast, Great Idea to help with the rush. We stayed July 2-4 and hotel was extremely crowded and breakfast...More

This was a 1st for us as we normally book a cabin rental so this was the first hotel we have booked in over 6 years! I must admit - it was a great hotel with great prices and clean facilities.
Check in was simple...More
I don't want this to be a "bad" review. This isn't a bad hotel. It is older and well worn. Not in bad shape, but it certainly could be better maintained. Great location and maybe that's what you're paying for. The room was large and...More

Hello Valued Guest!
Thanks for staying at our hotel and for your straightforward feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the rooms' setup and limited outlets fell short of your expectations and the closet nook is not big enough. These are not the type of service...More
This hotel is adequate but needs to improve. Very noisy heating system in the room, a shower whose temperature was hard to control, condensation from the windows flooding the top of the heater/airconditioning unit and a folding door to the closet which continuously jammed. The...More

There are actually TWO Holiday Inn Express hotels in Pigeon Forge. The one we stayed at had an indoor pool, if I remember correctly. One way to find out with certainty is to CALL the exact hotel you plan to book for the summer, they will be able to tell you for sure. My visit was last October so things MIGHT have changed, hotels often update or remodel areas that get a lot of use.
One thing for sure, if you are going in June and the indoor pool is out of order the outdoor one should be fine for use. Good luck and have a GREAT trip this summer, we really enjoyed ourselves in that part of the state, so much to see and do you might not have a lot of time for swimming. Remember the Great Smoky Mountains are only 10 miles away and there is a ton of exploring to do there, I wish we had spent more time there.
