The staff was friendly. The room was clean and remodeled. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The wifi was dependable. There were some unique looking characters hanging around outside their rooms in the evening. We were very pleased overall.
The free internet was very spotty, kept going out, one time had to call office about it . Very frustrating when you are out of town and trying to plan your trip. The remote for the tv did not work and the office said that we had to wait for an hour or so for their son to get home. Then they made us come to the office with the remote to change the batteries. The fridge in the room made noises all night. There were two roaches in the room.
We have a `toon at the Perryville Marina and The Pine Tree Inn is conveniently located only a mile or so from there which is very convenient for Tennesse River activities. The room was very clean and fashionable and appeared to be recently painted. The bed was comfortable and with the reasonable price made for a pleasant stay. Would recommend and stay there again when in Parsons..
We recently had to attend a funeral and spend a night near Parsons. There are only three hotel/motels in Parsons or all of Decatur County, TN and this is the best of the three. Clean rooms, big screen TV, Wi-Fi. Friendly staff.
The room was very large and clean, cold A/C, comfy bed and super quiet when you slept. We stayed 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. The owners were very nice and friendly, and around to keep an eye on their place. Cameras in the parking lot made us feel very safe, having brought our motorcycle. Reasonably priced and close to stores and restaurants, and you can even get delivery here!!!! We enjoyed and spent time outside at the newly built pavilion. These people really care about their guests. Highly recommended to visitors coming to this beautiful area.
headed south and wanted to avoid interstate traffic for a while, so ended up going through Parsons. Hotels are limited there as you would expect. The Pine Tree is an older typical roadside motel. As others noted, rooms have been updated and were very clean and modern. Lady behind desk was very friendly, but a bit hard to understand since she's not a native English speaker. The building we were in is close to the road and there was a bit of road noise and it sits extremely close to a auto repair business with lots of cars and equipment around the outside. That give a somewhat creepy atmosphere to the place, especially in the off-season when there weren't a lot of other people around. Wifi connected OK, but internet did not work, also our cell phone carrier didn't serve that area, so that added to the isolated feeling.…
You can tell the place is newly remodeled. Rooms were very big and clean. Probably the softest sheets and towels I have ever had at a hotel/motel. Beds were extremely soft and comfortable. They offered us a couple cold waters when we arrived. The only downside to this place is the noise of children. This is obviously a family-owned business and every day I was awakened by small children screaming at the top of their lungs outside my door while they cleaned the room next door. Other than that I had a very good stay.
Called about an hour from motel and asked about a room with a king bed. Was told they had one. We told the lady we would be there within the hour and was told they would hold for us. Upon arrival I was told that they had family come in and gave them our room. Asked for a discount for having to take a lesser room. Lady then said " people from Virginia don't have money". Very poor and unprofessional service
Rooms are updated and clean. Beds are comfortable. This is a small town with only 3 hotels. Close to the River and town. Stayed other places in the area and this place is way above the rest. Most importantly the Beds were so very comfortable and no smells! Also we like it cool and the Air Conditioning worked well and cooled the room within minutes of going in. Like having the spotless microwave and refrigerator in the room. The WiFi was strong but we didn't have a cell signal in our room. Breakfast was apples and honeybuns/packaged bake goods. Fine for us. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else!
We arrived with no reservations & it was sweltering hot. The clerk offered us a couple of cold bottled waters, so we were off to a great start. Room was completely remodeled and immaculate. Free wi-fi, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen, HBO & sports line-up, what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, very reasonable rates (kids free) & non-smoking rooms. They also have 2 bedroom cottage suites & RV & boat hookups, but I didn't use those. Motel located near restaurants & stores & 1 mile to Tennessee river.
