This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Nashville. The location is awesome, they have a free shuttle to take you downtown, and the view of the Parthenon is beautiful. The rooms are super clean and the staff goes above and beyond to take care of your every need and they do it with a friendly smile. Special shout out to Kerry in the Commodore Lounge who goes above and beyond to serve you and make you feel special.

We checked in with Jasmine at 9:30pm and she was so rude. She said we needed to put on masks which we were fine with, we had just left them in the car and forgotten because it was a long drive in bad weather, didn’t think about it. Another lady behind the desk handed us some. She got frustrated with me when I couldn’t hear her past the plexiglass at the counter while I was running my card and got really passive aggressive because I didn’t hear her tell me to take my card out and the machine said “do not remove card.” I was kind the entire interaction though. I apologized for not being able to hear her. When I came back down from our room to ask her when the shuttle stopped running, she said 10 and I said “Aw it’s too late to use it, it’s already 9:50.” She said “Well, I’m sure they can just drop you off.” She said it so sarcastically, it made my blood boil. Why would we want to walk back through the city from a restaurant in the middle of the night? We headed for Nashville after we had gotten off work, we were hungry. Everything else was perfect though. If I return, I will be asking for someone else at the check in because she was just awful. I’m only 22, I’m not a Karen. I understand if you’re having a bad day or something but that was just rude.

Thank you ariel: I apologize that your interaction with Jasmine did not go well. I appreciate the amount of detail you provided as this will be the perfect way to train the team on understanding our guests' perspective. The masks and plexiglas have put a damper on effective communication and we need to work harder to overcome these obstacles. If I can be of assistance the next time you are in town please contact me directly. Marcus Roberts General Manager (615) 321-8240 Marcus.Roberts@ihg.com
