One night stay passing through on business. I'm new to this chain and it's clearly a budget hotel. The outside is well lit and clean. The lobby and hallway were also clean. I was in a second floor room which was clean. TV had a good HD picture and the bed/pillows were good. Wifi wasn't bad either. So the negatives; the shower was poor, no outlet cover on one outlet, the ironing board was broken and after hearing voices outside like the window was open I found that the window was in fact open. It was broken so all I could do was pull it closed as much as possible. And lastly, the grab and go breakfast was very skimpy.
The front desk check in attendant was very nice. No problem there. When I went to use the bathroom, I noticed that the toilet wasn’t clean and poop was on the seat. The microwave had caked pasta sauce on the inside turntable. Not pleased with the lack of cleanliness.
This hotel was recently changed to Comfort Inn, and was formerly a Days Inn. Lobby was spotless, and room was super clean and looked fairly new. However, the bathroom door was from the old hotel. Very small area, you have to straddle the toilet to get the door open or closed. The tile in the bathroom had been completely redone, and then they left the old door on which had obviously been repaired multiple times in the past... Just finish the remodel and change the door already. Location is great, near frontage road in Opryland area.
Nice hotel, down the street from Gaylord, freeway, restaurants. Excellent location! The hotel was clean, and stocked. The bathroom are very small. Staff was friendly. I felt secure. We enjoyed our stay. Easy check in- out. Will stay again. Thanks
I stayed at this hotel years ago and it was nice back then. We were taking a girls trip to Memphis and Making a few days stop in Nashville so I picked this place again. The location can't be beat. On the street right behind the Grand Ole Opry and the street its on sits across from Opry Mills Mall and the enterance to The Gaylord Opryland Hotel. This hotels close the the highway and there are a several bars/food options nearby as well. The hotel itself was great. The man that checked us in (I believe his name was Allen) was great. He was giving directions and tips about Nashville to the people in front of me in line and would share them with everyone waiting to be checked in. The rooms were nice and clean. The one thing I didn't like was that there was a large wardrobe at the end of one one of the beds. It made the room a little hard to manover around each other and our belongings. It would be better if it had not been there. It was also hard to get the luggage cart in the room to unload with that wardrobe there. Other than that the rooms were great, the linens on the bed were fresh and everything was clean. The staff was really friendly as well. Breakfast was ok : A bottle of water, a danish, an apple, and a oat bar. You could get coffee, orange and apple juice from the machine. We ended up going down the street to Mcdonalds on our way out for the day. We will definitely stay here again on our next stop in Nashville…
