I travelled to Nashville as a solo female traveller so I was looking for somewhere safe and easy to get around from. The bus stop to take you downtown is about 5 minutes walk away, and one to take you to Hillsboro Village (Pancake Pantry is the best brunch I've ever had - recommended!) is about an 8 minute walk...

We stayed in a private room for 2 nights. Room was noisy, you can hear every whisper/shout/song from the other guests. Whole building smelt awful from the guests who sleep in the curtained off side of the hallway. Room wasn't clean - used earplugs on floor next to bed, shaving foam & hairs on sink in room. Plastic mattress covers...

Management response:

We apologize for failing to meet our guest's expectation. We, the owners and Music City Hostel family of long term staff, have high expectations of our operation and we feel terrible when we fall short of our guest's expectation. We've taken on some temporary help during busy summer season and not all of our temporary staff share our commitment to...

Really nice hostel, very clean and sociable and a very friendly atmosphere. Had guests of all ages as well. Would suggest it's a really good place to stay in Nashville. Only drawback is the location, about 20-30 minute walk from town... Though that isn't really an issue because there are buses. It was only an issue for us because we...

I stayed in the Music City Hostel for 3 nights on my solo-roadtrip through the US. Recovering from the worst hangover in the history of mankind I arrived as a walk-in guest in the middle of summer. Although they didnt promise me a room at arrival they told me to wait till 1 and then they would be able to...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It is full of vibrant energy and was a great place to hang out after a day of exploring Nashville. Things I really enjoyed were the outdoor common area, the almost constant live music, the free WiFi, the fully equipped kitchen, the clean bathroom and the general atmosphere of the place. Even...

I love American hostels. They are undermarketed & therefore still offer the best of the hostel world: value, community, & learning in a fun & hopefully safe & clean environment. This hostel had all of those elements. Whether you are a student, on walkabout, shortterm jobseeker, or vagabond adventure seeker, this hostel will work for you. I stayed in an...

Very reasonable price compared to surrounding hotel rooms if going solo. Location is pretty good, it took 25-30 minutes for me to walk downtown from here. Looked pretty safe. I saw them cleaning multiple times during my week here, which is always a good thing. My only real beef is the small number of bathrooms. When the hostel isn't full...

Stayed here as part of an organised tour on Boxing Day (26th Dec). We had an entire block for our group and there were 2 bunk beds per room, in 4 rooms, with one bathroom (with a shower) and another toilet. The rooms were all clean and a good size so you weren't falling over yours/other people's stuff - they're...

I stayed here with friends a couple of months ago and had an awesome time. The staff here are great, and are always happy to help, and basically just feel like part of the group. Most evenings we were there we had campfires with beer and of course plenty of music. There is always the sound of a guitar a...

Breakfast in supplied in a very basic means of make your own toast or pancakes. A few blocks away from the main street of Nashville,...
