The motel is quite old fashioned but it is really clean! It's in an idyllic spot on the shores of the Murray River. The guest kitchen is nicely outfitted with enough cutlery , crockery etc for at least 30-40 people. There are a number of BBQs , undercover and in the open to cater for that amount of people. There...

This is a budget motel in a rather outdated style, but the bad news stops there. All rooms back directly onto a spacious grassy incline leading to a very pretty stretch of the mighty Murray River. Everything is kept spotlessly clean, and the hosts provide access to full kitchen, laundry and BBQ facilities for longer term visitors in addition to...

The owners were polite and accommodating and my room , unit 2 was just what I was looking for : a clean and comfortable old-style piece of Australiana stunningly sited on a wide swathe of glass sloping down directly onto the banks of the venerable Murray river. There's a cosy verandah with chairs and a table to take in the...

Great little place right by the river. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms all have a lovely view and all have access to the lovely grass area out the back with picnic table I would recommend this place to everyone.

I've stayed at this motel every year for the past 12 years. It's at an amazing location right on the Murray River, close to beautiful wineries, historical Corowa, and the lovely and quaint towns of Rutherglen and Beechworth. The owners are friendly and helpful. There is a gigantic kitchen just for guests to use, kitted out with pots and pans,...

Really good spot, my family loved spending time down by the Murray. If your a bird-watcher I reckon you'll love it, lots of cockatoos. But if your like my family they are so annoying, they start making a racket at 4:00am and don't finish till 12:00pm then they start back up again at 3:30pm and go till 12:30am then they...

A comfy, budget priced motel with water frontage to the Murray River. An outside sitting area provides the opportunity to sit in the sun and watch the river. There are plentiful barbecue facilities on the property as well as a well equipped community kitchen. The owners, Coral and Terry are more than helpful regarding sights and history of Wahgunyah and...

Our group stayed with the Riverside for three nights. Their location on the bank of the river was peaceful, quiet and ideal for access to the region's wineries. In addition, it was an excellent place to get to for our members who travelled from both Melbourne and Sydney. The service from the owners was much appreciated, including good barbecue facilities....

Had 3 nights here. Excellent location on the banks of the Mighty Murray, across the river from Corowa. Adequate but getting tired and dated. Very friendly and helpful owner. Unfortunately, room smelt very, very musty/mouldy. Had to leave doors and windows open for the full three days/nights as the smell was so strong. Only got a bit cold at night....

Motel main room and bathroom need updating. You cannot expect people living in 2014 to revert to 1960's facilities! The river frontage is spectacular but a makeover of rooms would attract more customers!
