Bubbles in the spa and local Pinot in front of the gas open fire... relaxing does not get much better than that! Very cosy cottage in a great location central to all the Mornington Peninsula attractions and walking distance to Red Hill village centre.

We booked into the Helier Cottage (formerly Hannoy) for two nights to attend a wedding. First impressions were good with a detailed email explaining how to gain access and local tips. The split level cottage with open plan bedroom, spa, toilet upstairs appeared well appointed until we looked where to hang our clothes. There was no hanging space! There was... More

After arriving and exploring, we made a point of walking (not driving) down to investigate the local cluster of shops and restaurants (not a long walk), then took a walk down a bridle (horse) path which took us for a good hour or so return trip into the country. We were very happy to have a cold drink and snack... More

A lovely little cottage perfect for a quiet getaway, it's only a couple of minutes walk to a couple of nice cafes & restaurants in Redhill and a reasonably easy walk to the brewery or a couple of wineries!

We came to Hideaways at Red Hill for 2 nights, as we were going to a wedding nearby. We wanted a little more than a hotel, and this was perfect! The rates were expensive, but compared with the rest of the peninsula it was very reasonable! We had a great spa in the bath room that was especially good for... More

Good location, but unfortunately too many minuses for our liking. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired, very dusty, dirty windows, little piles of dirt on window sills and the open plan bathroom /toilet was a real turn off. Hearing your partner using the toilet even while sitting on the couch downstairs would not be most people's cup of tea.... More

This place is a great place for a retreat - nice and cozy, and a comfortable size. Hosts Renee and Alex are very warm and hospitable. I stayed at the Helier (Hannoy) Cottage for 2 nights and found the location of Hideaways very conveniently located. It was close to the local shops, restaurants, wineries and farms. Being situated on the... More

A great hideaway, but could do with a little updating. Minor problems easily remedied, such as providing egg cups and replacing chipped mugs etc. Also wi fi reception not good. Agree with the last reviewer that the open plan toilet would not be agreeable to everybody. However don't let that put you off staying there, otherwise clean and a great... More
