Travelling through on a Victorian road trip we found this reasonably priced and well run motel. The motel is not new but the rooms are spotless and spacious and the property has a very homely feel to it. Management are welcoming and friendly. The location is great with the olive shop, mustard factory and bakery within 50 meters or so.... More

John at the reception was very friendly, polite and helpful. The location is convenient and the room was very clean. I would recommend it for a short stay or weekend stay. Also near to "Italy on a plate" one of the best Italian restaurants in Victoria, and Brown Brothers Cellar Door, a must-go place in Milawa.

We were a group so booked early. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and toiletries supplied also. Within easy driving if the wonderful wine region if the King Valley. Thank you John and staff for your hospitality. Healthy breakfast available or within walking distance if the bakery.

All you can ask from a moderately priced motel is a good nights sleep in a clean and tidy room - this ticked all the boxes and the bed was extra comfy!! During your stay do yourself a favour and eat at the Italian restaurant just over the road - delicious authentic Italian food and wine!

The owners were overseas when we arrived but we were welcomed by a lovely woman who was looking after the motel while they were away. She was very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay really memorable. The room was quite spacious and spotlessly clean. A relaxing place to stay and within walking distance of the Cheese Factory,... More

The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The manager went out of his way to make us feel at home. We had a BBQ in the court yard and the manager made sure we had everything we needed. Very close to Brown Brothers winery. Would definitely go back.

This was our second trip to this beautiful place. John and Rod are excellent hosts. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Little things make such a difference; a tea pot should you want tea in a pot rather than the bag in the cup, the shampoo and conditioner have a big C and S on them which limits confusion... More

Thank you Rod & John for making our stay a very happy one. Your hospitality was exceptional and greatly appreciated by all. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It's terrific to be so close to Milawa Cheese, the Olive shop, Mustard shop & so many wineries. We look forward to our next stay with you.

A friend and I recently stayed at the Milawa Motel and can thoroughly recommend it. Our hosts were very warm and friendly, and made us feel most welcome. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we were given fresh milk to go with our in-room tea and coffee. The continental breakfast was excellent, and a filling start on a cold... More

Arguably one of the best places we have stayed. Our hosts Rod and John were fabulous, warm and friendly and very attentive. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean. The fire in the dining room kept us Queenslanders warm on the chilly evenings while we enjoyed the 'home cooked' cuisine prepared lovingly by John. We will be back... More
