A delightful B&B in relaxing Metung. Situated overlooking Chinaman's Creek this compact yet beautufully finished B&B provided our party of 4 with 2 seperate (but interconnecting if required) rooms..one with a queen and the other with a king bed. Immaculately clean and furnished to a high standard, the "Anchorage" is a great place to stay while in the Metung proximity....

My wife and I stayed on a Monday night on the way from Melbourne to Merimbula. The Anchorage was an awesome place to break up the trip. The views were stunning and the service was exceptional. It was a short walk into town, which was a great way to experience Metung. The breakfast was amazing. A sumptuous selection of local...

The hostess, Tricia, is a real delight. The rooms are beneath their residence so you get good privacy. They adjoin their lovely gardens. The bed was comfortable, the pillows and linens very nice. It's about 20 minutes walk to the pub, shorter to the Nautica. The walk is along a beautiful boardwalk - Metung is really pretty. This makes the...

We stayed here only one night but would have loved to stay longer. The Anchorage is a couple of units below the owner's house. The location is perfect - up on a hillside a little outside the town centre, so very queit and peaceful, but only about 20 minutes easy walk along the waterside to the town centre. Metung itself...

We were a little hesitant to ring this B&B as we were travelling with a toddler but were lucky that there were no other guests staying during the night that we requested. The host Tricia is just so lovely with a nothing is too difficult or too much attitude. She welcomed us warmly, turned on the heater in our room...

This was our second visit to The Anchorage in three years and we were not disappointed. We were given a very warm welcome by Tricia who is a generous hostess. The rooms are large with comfy bed and a pleasant en suite with nice white towels. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts cooked to order elegantly served in the breakfast room overlooking...

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful B&B. Tricia was so kind and friendly. She served us a delicious breakfast each day on her balcony, which had a great view overlooking Chinaman's Creek. She also made sure that we were aware of the various things to do in Metung and surroundings (boat hire down the street, fish and chips...

I found this B and B by looking at the reviews whilst planning our road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane. This was the first stop and Tricia could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The room was delightful and the location stunning. We settled in then walked along the boardwalk into Metung for an evening meal - delightful. Thank...

The Anchorage B and B in Metung is a perfect spot to unwind and relax in this charming little lakeside village. The rooms are large and very well appointed, the views are gorgeous and Tricia, the hostess, goes out of her way to make one feel both welcome and comfortable. All in all a most satisfactory and delightful stay. I...

My wife and I spent two nights at the Anchorage. Metung is a beautiful area with the Anchorage located near the entry to the town. The Anchorage is on a small hill which gives a stunning view over Chinaman's Creek and a 20 minute stroll along a boardwalk into town. Tricia has a notice board with a welcoming message because...
