What a delight, clean & comfortable accomodation, good position with lovely views and friendly, helpful owners. A pity we couldn't spend longer in Mallacoota to do some walking, such a lovely place. Not a great choice of food but Lucy's noodles were lovely.

The place looks a bit tired from the outside. However the room we stayed in was bright, modern and very clean. View to the water was excellent. Joe was very welcoming and helpful. Slept extremely well. No noise. Local hotel provided great service, food and wine. Would recommend to anyone!!

To be fair - we visited Mallacoota in the off-season, on our way through from Sydney to Melbourne, for one night. There wasn't an awful lot there. Don't get me wrong, all very nice -water, forest, nature and that - but, well, that's it really. The Blue Wren Motel is - a Motel. It does what it says on the...

My husband and I went on a work trip to Mallacoota, and stayed in the Blue Wren Motel. The owners were wonderfully helpful, giving us information about anything we needed help with (locations, etc). Great to have a chat with! Our room was quite large, which was good value for money. The only disappointment was the lack of sound control...

As seems to often be the caste the "free internet" is neither free nor functional. But If you don´t care about that (which for $30 at Telestra you don´t have to) this is a good motel. It is not new, but it is one of the best kept motels we have stayed at in Australia, regardless of price. There is...

Older style two-storey motel but our upstairs room was very spacious with an extra single bed as well as the queen bed. The bathroom looked brand new and it was great to have a reading light by the couch. The brick walls in between the units provided good soundproofing and we experienced nice quiet nights.

We spent one night here recently on our way back to Melbourne from Ulladulla. From the front it doesn't look much at all but the rooms have been renovated and are comfortable and spacious. Joe the owner was great with providing info on restaurants. A very good experience at a great price.

We arrived late in the evening and found a litle jug of fresh milk in the fridge for our tea which was much appreciated. The motel looks very basic but is immaculately clean and very spacious. It is a short walk to the sea and convenient for the few pretty little shops in the main street. The landlord was friendly...
