Motel had cobwebs and mosquitoes in the room, there was a list of every item in the room, are the owners afraid people might steal the items, nice to know there is trust in people. Expensive and very outdated the room needs a make over with a coat of paint and new beds. In my room I had twin beds... More

The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a garden area with a tennis court with other places to relax. It is walking distance to the local eateries and you can order breakfast on site or eat at the cafes close by. We loved our stay at The Grange.

Stayed here after a not so great experience at another local accommodation...and it was fantastic. Clean, friendly, helpful, quiet, & comfortable. Reception lady was also great! Bathroom was a little old school but overall great!

We had a couples escape at Daylesford overnight and were looking for somewhere lovely to have lunch before returning to reality. The Grange sounded perfect. I rang ahead to check availability and wasn't given the instructions on how to find where we were supposed to find the dinning room for the wood fired pizzas. We walked around for ages following... We arrived at the accommodation after the reception closed so they were kind enough to leave our keys in the after hours box. At first I was a little worried about the rooms as I had read bad reviews on it, however once we entered all my worries disappeared, the room was large, clean, and had two beds a queen... More

This place is a road side MOTEL!!! Nothing like the photos suggest. We were really looking forward to staying here based on the photos and their Grange group website. But all were so misleading. If you need some where just to sleep for the night for a good price then this place is fine but nothing more. The restaurant was... More

Initially we needed to gain access before 2pm to change our clothes for a nearby function. The manager was obliging however our plane and hire car were running late so we went straight to the function. We returned around 6.15 and rang the bell. The manager gave us our keys and suggested bringing our continental breakfast tray to the room... More

We stayed in May for business. The grounds are absolutely stunning. We dined at the restaurant twice - for dinner which was excellent (and the buffet breakfast was also delicious!) As we were leaving early one morning they provided a continental breakfast for our group of 15 in the lounge area which was greatly appreciated.

We stayed here on a Saturday night as we were going on a trip to Edgar's Mission, as they themselves had had suggested it. The place was completely clean and comfortable, and they catered wonderfully to us being vegan, (with special breakfast items). The lady could not do enough for us, and was very pleasant to talk to. She suggested... More

I booked 2 nights here over Easter so that I could write a paper without the noise and everyday "stuff" that goes along with living with a young child... I wasn't expecting a palace, just a cosy, country hotel. What I got was not that! It started with a rude exchange when I arrived. I had entered the reception area... More
