So I needed a one-night stay out in the Yarra Valley as I could see where this certain long lunch would lead to. Being a single, the last thing I wanted was some cutesy Honeymoon ready guest house or for that matter some Grandma inspired heritage cottage. The reviews were good so I took on The Grand Hotel and was...

Nice people and it is good to see the place open. Our room was comfortable but the trudge to the ancient bathrooms was a bit of a pain. But that was our fault for booking it. If you stay here though ask for a room at the back. The road is busy all night. Worse than that was a number...

We had no place booked for that night and we found The Grand Hotel which was fitting in our budget. A family room with a king size bed for us and two twin beds for the kids. Even if it was shared bathroom, we had three complete bathrooms right beside the room. We had a very good welcome and the...

We stayed her for one night and really enjoyed it. We actually didn't mind having a shared bathroom as there were plenty of them, and very 'homely'. The room was comfy and well presented. Staff were very friendly. Only thing missing is a mirror in the bedroom, otherwise the stay was perfect!!!

I stayed in a single room for one night for a wedding which was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of bathrooms so getting ready with other guests was not a problem. Nice touches in the bathrooms like body creams and general toiletries. Utilised the dining room to keep some food in the fridge and have a coffee in the morning....

Really nice place to stay. I was a bit hesitant about the lack of en-suite bathrooms, but there were multiple, very well appointed bathrooms on both levels of the hotel. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Manager was friendly and welcoming. I would happily return.

Came across this place whilst visiting for the day. Just walked in and staff where so friendly and helpful. Food exceptional. Love atmosphere,. once we finished our meal we wandered around and found a couple of different eating areas. We ate in the restaurant, but they had an interesting bistro also and BBQ area out the back.

Cheap and comfy. I stayed one night in a single bedroom on the 3rd floor in Feb 2017. Clean room with comfy bed. Clean shared bathrooms. I believe that this hotel has new owners, and the place seemed like it was still being renovated, but it's looking very promising. If you're looking for a fancy place with every imaginable service...

We were a group of 11 people with 5 rooms. Stayed on the day on the green weekend. The service was absolutely fantastic. All staff were warm and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The place is freshly renovated - rooms are great. We had dinner in the restaurant - also amazing. Absolutely recommend !!!!
