A comfortable stay in a pleasant, self-contained unit in Harrietville. Included self-catering facilities, dining, and lounge area as well as two bedrooms. Also pleasant by the river. Easy to find, and a good location for climbing Feathertop or continuing on along the Great Alpine Road to Hotham and Omeo.

We bought some English visitors here to show them our magnificent country and what better place than Harrietville, Casbak Alpine Units. Peaceful surroundings, glorious 30 degrees days, most friendly and accommodating Hosts in Ed and Neene who couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in the Myrtle Lodge which was like a home away from home. Very spacious, clean, comfortable...

Second time we've been for a group holiday. Last time we went was 2 years ago and within that time nothing has been updated. It's a great location but needs new and maintained facilities such as furniture, appliances, toys and especially the pool. Games room is run down and wifi is also barely accessible. Overall a decent stay but could...

We have been regulars here for sometime and each year when we arrive we wonder why we rebooked. It's certainly not for the facilities which are tired and need urgent attention. They refurbed the pool but left the disgusting broken chairs there. There is a fixed table in the pool area that has been rotting away for years and has...

I could not recommend these units more for a family!! They have a pool, playground, sports equipment and wonderful staff to help you out with anything! The units back onto the river making a wonderful place to splash around in summer! The units are big and clean with great facilities and space for a family! I would definitely recommend these...

We've stayed numerous times at Casbak with the family and it is always a fantastic place to stay. Accomodation in the Myrtle Lodge was immaculate. Fantastic pool to laze around over the sunny weekend. Even strolled up to the man made dredge hole for a fun swim with the family. Ed and Janine are wonderful hosts that make you feel...

We stayed here on our trip to Hotham. Only about 40 minutes to the mountain. The room was clean, comfortable and warm once the heater got going. The owners were welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again, the only negative is that there isn't much in Harrietville and we had to go to Bright for food ect

We booked for a 2 night weekend away exploring the area around Harrietville. Our unit was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Great location near both pubs and pretty central. Shower was basic but plenty of hot water. While near the road, it was quiet. Units are getting a bit dated but no real complaints

I have been going to casbak since I was 3 months old and I still love it up there. Ed and Neene are great hosts and have been very nice to me, so much so they took me on a downhill mtb ride which caused myself to buy one because I enjoyed it so much

I think the most appealing thing about this place that made me book it was the ability to have my own kitchen. Separate bedrooms and lots of space. I don't feel I was short changed. There was ample space, a kitchen a could cook in and outside barbecues that sit near the river. It was completely delightful, well worth the...

“Even though we did not need it we opted for the two bedroom apartment and we were placed down the back near the river which was very nice. Also Harrietville gets very busy after boxing day, we went just before Christmas and it was nice and quiet.”
