We visited Halls Gap Caravan Park on the Australia day long weekend and it was crazy busy there but we were very happy with the park and amenities were very well maintained. It can get bit noisy at night so make sure to carry ear plugs.

Thanks for your great review. Long weekends can get a bit busy in Halls Gap. We do try our best to make sure all our guests respect their fellow travelers and keep the noise down but some are not considerate of others. If this does happen please do not hesitate to contact our on site staff via the intercom located...

Have stayed at the Halls Gap caravan park, camping sites and cabins on numerous occasions. Central location is the biggest advantage, with access to walking tracks such as Venus baths and the Pinnacle, close to local public swimming pool, cockatoos and kangaroos a plenty to entertain all, cabins have improved in the last few years, great fire pits to get...

Thanks Steve for your comments. Its always good to hear our guests are noticing the improvements we have made to the cabins including new furniture, bedding, flooring and much more. The many walks that lead from the park can be a great way to explore the surrounding area. With all the wildlife that call the park home its can make...

This caravan park is well positioned across the road from the main shops and has several walk paths leaving from very close. However: We were there during a busy time and the toilet areas were only cleaned once during the middle of the day. At other times there was a very large amount of toilet paper and mud all over...

Thanks for your comments Graham. A few comments about your review. Normally our toilets are cleaned once a day in the late morning. During peak weekends we clean them again in the morning and at the end of the day. I am sure most guests staying during peak weekends will understand that with the huge amount of people in the...

We stayed here 5 years ago and thought we would stop on the way home from Adelaide as it had fond memories . We were surprised at the increase in price and this site was the most expensive out of all we have stayed at but can say the worst state of cleanliness in the amenity block which was disgusting....

Thanks for your comments Charlotte. Our pricing is well within the normal price range for Caravan Parks. While there are some parks that are cheaper obviously pricing will vary depending on season, location and facilities. The time of year you visited the park was during peak season which is why pricing is higher and also why the amenities will be...

Very lovely and well maintained caravan park with lots of Kangaroos and Cockies that come in to be fed. The only thing wrong was there were no activities that we have had in other parks. The swimming pool was there but expensive at $4.50 each child and $5 for us to watch them each day. When you have three children...

Thanks Samantha fr your comments. Most guests who visit the Grampians love to visit the many lookouts, waterfalls and spectacular walks we have in the area. We dont have a swimming pool in our park as there is the Public swimming pool right across the road from our park which is council run. Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park is also...

We were here couple of days ago and had a great time with family. Camp kitchen was well equipped and we had a chance to see wallabies at our camp site everyday evening. All shops were closeby and we had a good 4g network at this site. Staff were really friendly and happy to assist when we wanted to change...

Thanks for your review on our park. We are lucky to have so much of the local wildlife visit our park including the Kangaroos, cockatoo's, Emu and even the odd deer if you are lucky. I will pass your comments onto our staff as well. We hope to see you again when you next visit Halls Gap

The shops in the town are just a couple of minutes walk from this campsite. A cafe, a grocery shop, two ice creameries, some souvenirs shops and an Indian restaurant to name a few. There are amenities including a laundry room (4 $1 coins needed for the washing machines and $1 for 10 minutes drier). Stunning views of the mountains...

Just before Christmas seemed very quiet and we loved the location, the trees, the creek, the nearby shops, the relative quietness (cicadas excepted) and the proximity to the Grampians. Facilities were standard, the fee higher than many other sites but the fact that it was pet friendly and the previously mentioned pluses, we had no argument with this. Very close...

Thanks for the review. Halls Gap is a great place to relax and the nights are very quite. Thankfully the Cicada only make an appearance about once every 7 years and should be gone by the end of December. Taking the family dog is great for everyone and makes sure that the puppies dont miss out on the relaxation as...

We were in a cabin, which the park offered us an upgrade at no extra cost. We accepted the offer and were pleased with the cabin. The park is full of yellow crested cockatoos. They became a bit of a problem in the end, landing on the rail of the deck - this was ok, but they ended up landing...

Thanks for your comments. We do get many animals into our park, many to the delight of our guests. It is unfortunate that some guests ignore the signs about not feeding the wildlife and this can cause some to be a little bit too bold like the Cockatoos.
