We recently stayed in February and the family thoroughly enjoyed Hideaway Cottage at Timbertop. We stayed over for a few nights on our return to Brisbane from Tassie. The cottage is gorgeous, very clean and we had a lovely surprise of basic needs for breakfast even biscuits in the fridge. Big thankyou to Janet for making us feel so welcome... More

My partner Gracie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hideaway at Timbertop. The owners Janet and Rob made us feel most welcome. We felt relaxed the moment we walked through the door. We will come back again. Thanks Janet and Rob. Sincerely Claude

We enjoyed a lovely night at the Hideaway Lodge as a pick-us-up away after some busy weeks at work. Janet and Robert were the perfect hosts and the Hideaway was the perfect cottage. Robert had the fire going before we got there and we enjoyed just sitting down near the fire and relaxing. The spa was a perfect setting later... More

We enjoyed a weekend away staying at the Hideaway cottage. The owners, Janet and Robert are very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and has all the basic needs including bread, biscuits, cereals, milk, orange juice, milo etc as well as bathroom supplies. It is a very quiet cottage where you can enjoy an afternoon sitting out at the... More

Going to a wedding in August and knowing the rush would be on to get good accommodation, I booked with this B&B a month before hand. I rang two weeks before the wedding to ask if we could check in early and found the response was warm, courtious and helpful. I was therefore extremely disappointed to be rung three days... More

We stayed 2 nights at this absolutely beautiful cosy cottage. It's like living in somebody's homely house. I loved the country feel of the cottage. It was clean and we had fun lighting the fireplace. It was very cold but we soon had the fire going and there was also a portable heater in the living room. It was quiet... More

We were looking for a two storey bed and breakfast lodge in the Dandenongs with a) a log fireplace and b) tonnes of atmospheric charm and wow factor. Timbertop Lodge was absolutely perfect. It's actually two lodges with a separating wall down the middle. Each lodge is basically a mirror image of the other. We only saw our lodge ("Greenhaven")... More

This two storey mud brick cottage, is absolutely a travellers delight. The affable hosts, the generous breakfast supplies, the mood and ambience heightened by classical music and rose scented candles. This is the best accomodation I have stayed in Australia in over 30 years of travelling. Stay there once and you willl want to go back time and time again

We loved our stay at Timbertop. It was just perfect. The accommodation was immaculate and comfortable. Janet and Robert were friendly and helpful at all times and were only too pleased to recommend places to eat and visit. It was like having our own private house in the lush forests of Australia for a few days. The spa was wonderful,... More
