This is just the perfect accommodation with everything that you could possibly need, thoughtfully supplied. Cozy log cabins with wood fire heaters, barbecues, picnic tables, top class linen and towels, cooking needs etc. all in a beautiful, peaceful bush setting and at a very reasonable price! We wish we had booked to stay longer, but we will be back for...

If you like a bit of peace and quiet and love to be surrounded by unspoilt beauty then this place is a must have! There are about 9 beautiful log cabins set in beautiful gardens with your own porch and yard area. The cabins have absolutely everything you need and are very clean and tidy. Kangaroo's jump about the grounds...

Stayed here over 15 years ago and it was good then as well, this time I noticed it has expanded and the cabins are even better. Such normal things as free Wifi, a excellent BBQ with every thing provided except your food, and friendly magpies complete the picture, the surprise was seeing a kangaroo outside my cabin this morning. The...

Our plan was to drive from Melbourne to the Grampians one day, and the next day, drive down to the 12 Apostles and head back to Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road. Staying on the southern edge of the Grampians rather than in Halls Gap was perfect because it gave us a bit of a head start for the second...

We spent a very relaxing night here on a slow trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. It's a terrific location so close to the southern Grampians, and the hosts have done a great job setting things up for your stay. Each cabin is self-contained and has its own front lawn, BBQ, verandah with deck chairs etc. Views are great, it's quiet...

We booked a single night at the Southern Grampians Cottages just this weekend past and regretted not being able to spend more time there. Ah well, we'll just have to go back! The Standard Cottage comes with 2 bedrooms, enough for 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 tiny humans. The property was well kitted out with everything you might...

This was probably one, if not the best place I have stayed in, on my own. The cottage was perfect in everything a person needed, as well as the most fabulous location. It was like staying in a botanical garden, and so peaceful away from road noise, just the birds for company, and the chickens that wandered around the garden....

The cottages are modern, clean and very well maintained. The property is spacious, with lawns and large trees and in walking distance to the main street. It was a great place to stay to dine at the Royal Mail hotel and climb Mount Sturgeon. Hosts Carolyn and George are friendly and helpful.
