Wow - full of old fashioned rooms, and values. Where do they all these brillian cooks?? Meal 1st class. Rooms old fashioned but clean and comfortable. Nice location with free parking. Just around the corner modern tasteless motels, but this one is charming. We loved it

Just popped in for dinner as I was staying at the motel next door. A decent feed with the fire going and pretty friendly staff. All in all not a bad little place. It's basic but that's a typical country pub. Closed up early as it was quiet but again, that's nothing unusual.

This hotel has rooms upstairs with shared facilities. We arrived late at 2000 and where lucky to catch the staff as they were locking up the downstairs area. It was well suited to our travels on the way to Canberra, and we were wet from a day of riding in rain. The staff were very helpful and the room had...

Dropped into this hotel mid-Winter to be greeted by a very friendly barman and a large and warm open fire. Unfortunately they didn't serve coffee (well it is a pub I guess) but a lemon squash fitted the bill as a break from my drive up to Canberra.

We didn't stay at the hotel - we were at the Cann river Motel across the road - but we did stop in for dinner and it was excellent. There were warming slow combustion fires in the bar and dining room and the food was hearty and filling - just what you need on a cold night.

I came through Cann River one night on my way from Sydney to Melbourne. I needed a room and it was late at night. I did a drive by on the 3-4 motels in town, but decided to keep looking. I came across the Cann River Hotel, and though (mistakenly), that a Hotel should be nicer than a Motel. Boy,...
