Have stayed many times over last 5 years.that it's like visiting a charming?, intellectual and cultured family member's uncontrived home full of wonderful books and a special art collection. The owner, Dede is so lovely and will engage you with her knowledge of this special community. I'm tired of contemporary hotels and even inns that have hard edges to the...

I would highly recommend staying here to experience a lovely get away in the Tennessee mountains. The staff and owner are exceptional in customer service! The location is excellent. What a wonderful trip. We will definitely return!!!

Charming antique home with all the implications - both good and bad. Antiques, but dusty/musty. Standard breakfast - no frills. Pricey. Very inflexible cancellation policy. I recommend you only book if you are positive you will be able to make the trip.

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful breakfast. Great place within the Assembly to walk around, small trails everywhere...close to Sewanee if you have a student there. Very friendly owner and great atmosphere. Beautiful area. Definitely pricey.

Our rooms had very comfortable beds and beautiful views. Fine quiet AC and also windows that open if you like. The large public rooms filled with comfortable furniture, eclectic artwork, and interesting books were very inviting as well. We enjoyed the wraparound porch and the wonderful setting within the Monteagle Assembly. Great walking around the streets lined with Victorian houses;...

This is a half way meeting point for friends and family so we come here about every other year. This is our 13th year and we still love it. The place is charming, comfortable and interesting. We pack our favorite beverages and solve the worlds problems around the covered porch. The breakfast is yummy and they serve it on your...

Stayed here two nights and this place has its pros and cons. The Inn is clean and is in a beautiful neighborhood. The breakfast was good, eggs and bacon and toast. The lady cooking was super sweet. The customer service I felt was lacking, the wifi was horrible. There were no locks on the doors, which I didn't care for....

Wonderful Chautauqua community, great location for this bed and breakfast. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious and the room was cute, cozy and comfy. The price seemed a bit expensive, but there aren't many other options in the area.

The only positive thing I can say is that it's in the heart of the Assembly grounds and a good location to many attractions around Monteagle. The inn itself and rooms are dark, musty, and cluttered with junk/antiques. The advertised "gourmet" breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast which I could have ordered at the Waffle House down the...

The Chauttaqua style summer community for arts, culture, faith exploration was fascinating. The food was simple and excellent. The room were a bit old as one might expect but livable. A good experience. Take a walk around the grounds to enhance you stay.

Thank Ann W
